Please pray for two teens, age 17, who were shot in Planada on I believe Monday. They were innocent victims of gang shootings. We know the young man, Justin, as we used to live in LeGrand and go to church with him and his family. Monica is the girl's name. Both are in the hospital following surgery and appear to be improving. She has some left side paralysis, which the hope is temporary. Thank you all!

Update on Emma Grace Hepner who is now 4. She continues treatment for her leukemia, but is doing well over all. Please remember them as they go through this for several years yet!

Pray for friends who have twin boys who are a few weeks old. The mom has left with the boys and not informed the father where they are. Please pray for the safe return of the boys and healing for this family.

A daughter named Mandy has a dad, Jeff, who declares atheism and is now seemingly dying. He will receive 3 different 'messages' which may hold some measure of deliverance for him. Mandy is also in need for restoration and encouragement in her faith. Can we pray more and believe more for His will to always accomplish its desired effect for the glory of His Name!!! Praise His Holy Name for always, always, always accomplishing what is good and perfect, for His Name's sake.

Linda called this evening, David is still in the hosp. in Hayward but is being transferred to Kaiser in San Francisco tomorrow for an angiogram early Thurs. a.m.&#A0; Still no diagnosis.&#A0; She asks that you keep them all in your prayers.&#A0; They are so appreciative of your support and were especially pleased to receive a call from Pastor Rick.

Please pray for our 17yr old, grand niece, Rani. She responded to a Craig's list "person" thinking she was going to be helpful to someone ...unfortunately, the man abused her and held her against her will for 3 days before police found her. Not only is she struggling with the shame and all that goes with that, but the police can only prosecute if she's willing to press charges (and she was threatened by the man, not to). It's a nightmare for her and her family. This man has had other victims, too. The family needs God's love, peace, healing, safety, and guidance!!

Dear friends, Have just had a call from Linda Rush - she would like David's name on the prayer chain. They were visiting their daughter in the Bay area and David began having a problem with his heart. He is in Kaiser/Hayward - it was not a heart attack but they are keeping him at least over night for further tests and a diagnosis. Kathie Soar for Linda

Precious Lord, take my hand. Be with me this week, as I strive to be more like you and show your loving kindness to those around me. I need your guidance; I need your strength; I need your love. Give me the presence of mind to see those in need of your care, a compassionate heart to feel the pain of others, and a willingness to be a witness through all of my words and actions. Amen.

I have been a full time caregiver to 88 year old Charlie Fry for the past 15 months. I have asked his daughter, who lives in Gilroy, to seek out financial aid to help support Charlie and I in our endeavor to continue to give him the best quality of life possible. The task becomes more difficult as time passes, as I also work full time at True Value Home Center. We applied over 4 months ago through the Veterans Admin. for financial aid. We recieved a letter last week stating they may need more info, and there are claims ahead of him which may delay their decision on his claim. Please pray that Charlie's claim is expedited, and his financial award abundant.
