I dont understand why this comic is so bad? Does it give us the wrong idea about the values that a superior intellect might have?

It shows an animated almost-plush Cthulhu being outwitted by a bunch of sickeningly-saccharine fiends from sugar-hell and you ask *why it's bad*?

Perhaps it's a sign that Cthulhu has a restricted diets. I'm sure it would make me a bit cross if I couldn't down sugar cookies, especially round the holiday.

OK, so it might be considered difficult to diminish her reputation, and it seems that adulterous relations are officially OK for British politicians, but hot sex wuith Ronald Reagon should be defamatory enough for any court.

As the dead have no reputation to protect, all Mr Stone has to do is film away and then sit back and wait for nature to take its course.

Perhaps the W/Rice story could be told too, with Reagan/Thatcher in flashback.

After the Alexander debacle it's doubtful that Stone will ever make another movie.

Maybe somebody got confused about that Winston Churchill movie, which sounds as though it was a spoof (a sort of Xena-like history of WW2, akin to Diana, Warrior Princess.

You know, somebody is bound to believe that Winston Churchill was some heroic officer in the USN -- why else would there be a ship named after him.

I'm with you Dave - I hope she lives long enough to see the Boy Mark behind bars. I hope _I_ live long enough to see him behind bars. Actuarially, I've got the better chance of making that sweet sweet moment, but as we know, shit happens.

Now now, Chris: the Boy Mark might be a disgusting exemplar of classical Tory cronyism, and Maggie the Thatch might be the acme of that species of politician we use in subsequent years to frighten disobedient children with ("behave yourself or Maggie the Thatch will come and steal your milk then cut off your benefits!"), but there's no need to get vindictive.

I will confess that in 1997 I was gloating at the prospect of Maggie living for a nice long time while a Labour government dismantled her machinery of repression before her eyes -- hah, I was young and naive and took Blair at face value back then -- and I confess that I will be most amused if Mark manages to land himself in prison, but the two reactions are not and should not be connected. Taking vicarious joy at an enemy's grief over a relative's misfortune is unbecoming. (Even if the slimy git deserves it.)
