I think i'm going to do mine on Vanilla Sky. i didn't really like the movie all that well because I didn't quite understand it but I think talking about Tom Cruise's different views from before and then after the accident will be interesting. so that's what i'm doing and i hope this project is successful!! everyone have an awesome weekend and don't get arrested! see you all in class on monday!!! peace!

you know what im gonna have to agree with what drew said. at first the changes didn't seem like a good idea to me, but this makes class a lot more interesting i think. when we did those articles no one really enjoyed it and we struggled just to keep the class moving with discussion, but now it's much better. i'm havin a little trouble thinking up a movie to write about but i'm sure it'll come to me. well have a nice weekend everyone try not to slip down jeff hill

Hi everyone! Perspective is a really cool thing to talk about, just hearing everyone's differnt thoughts about what we have talked about the past few weeks was our own perspectives of how we grew up. I could really tell who grew up in a town like mine, or one really different. Our own backgrounds has a lot to do with how we perceive each other and this school. I hope we keep talking about our different perspectives because it's really interesting. HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND!!

Howdy Everyone, I am just writing to throw my two cents in on this whole new perspective path we are taking. Although it seems like a little more work (and less class), I think it is much better then reading those boring articles. The class seems to be much more lively. It appears that everyone is a little more interested in what we are dicussing now, whereas before we would just toss out comments to try and keep class rolling. I think its great. If we can keep up the pace of class we have right now and continue to do our work i think this class will develop into something even much more exciting. Well thats about all.
Have a good weekend everyone, Drew

Hey guys, what's up? Okay our perspective project seems pretty cool. It would be way better if I knew what to do my paper on. So far the only topics I have are; Face Off and A Beautiful Mind. If I can't think of anything else I guess I'll do the paper on A Beautiful Mind, but I haven't seen the movie in a while. If any of you guys wanna help me out e-mail me! Ashrenee77@aol.com HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!!!!!!WOOOOHOOOOOO!

hola clase, Como estan? Thought i would use a different perspective on the greeting. Thasts one of many perspectives that can be seen in the world. Languages, cultures, religions, and jobs all share different perspectives. Thats kinda what we learned in geography so far is that everyone has their own uniqueness ( if thats a word) and that they look at it in their own perspectives. Thats why America has so much to offer with perspective because its a melting pot of beliefs and ideas and everyone can learn something from each other. Oh yeah i thought i would throw in another perspective. In highschool english the teachers were always telling us that they were preparing us for college. they made us read books they thought were good for us and write papers that were not helpful at all. I learned nothing of worth besides how to goof off with my friends. When i got here i though i was going to be faced with a tough english class and i was wrong. This is the coolest class i have, and i cant wait to go and tell my old english teachers that they need to learn how to realize that their class isnt the most important thing in the world. Oh yeah i wrote a long post this week since i missed one last week. Sorry everyone. I wont do it again. Adios amigos

Hey everybody what's up.
It's so nice to have no class on Friday. This class has been my best class so far this year. The discussions are productive to what we need to talk about and they are fun at the same time. I like the whole idea of perspective because it brings out the best of our ideas and the differences that we all had. To be honest I really didn't mind reading the articles out of those books even though some were very boring. I felt that the topics weren't as bad as some say but that's just opinion. But whatever we talk about is cool with me because everybody seems to have good taste in topics. If this post seems boring itself, it probably is. Sorry.

First off, how ya'll doing? Me, I'm going well thanks for asking. Perspective is a funny thing. At one time you will think one thing and at another you'll think another.
I was watching reruns of Full House yesterday and I saw one of the Olsen twins, they used to be so adorable when they where on the show and using the one liner "you got it dude."
So when they hell did they get so hot. Its all perspective. What's My point? Figure it out.
HAVE A SWEET WEEKEND, STAY DRY, CALL HOME, YOU'RE MOM'S WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU.

Hey Everyone, I hope that you are having a good friday!
I am so glad that we changed the schedule for the next three weeks! I think that looking at the world in a new and different way is a goood idea because you see things that you might not have seen before. Instead of looking one time at something I now look two times and see the other perspective. For my paper, I am going to write about the movie, What Women Want.
Have a nice weekend!

Hello, I am really glad that we played the name game because now I can put a face to the people who have wrote on the message board. I think that the class has turned around tremendously because we are all more interested in the topic so we will put more effort in the assignments on perspective. For my paper, I am writing about the movie, Miss Congeniality.
I agree with Adam about always being positive. It makes life go so much better. I also feel that if you just do what needs done without putting it off or complaining about it, it will turn out much better, and take less time.
Have a good weekend!!

Whats up everyone?! I hope your weekends are going good. Changing the class up was a great idea. We can now look at english in a new perspective. I hope all of you feel the same way. It is kind of ironic that we are looking at the subject of perspective when we decided to change the class and view it in a different way. Anyway, I think what we are studying now is really neat. I can't wait to learn more about it. And how about it we only have class two days next week and the week after!! How much better can this class get? This is the best english class ever.
Have a great weekend!!

Well i dont know about all of you but I'm happy that we decided to change the whole game plan for the rest of the quarter. I just dont get excited about reading about tectonic plates and stuff like that. Plus now we dont even have to come but about 3 days a week. I like talking about how we see things and changing our perspective on it. I think it makes us respect things more if we see if from more than one view. Well allright im bout to go party so everyone have a good weekend

Through our various class discussions we have found that the way something looks from one perspective might look completely different from another perspective.
I try to keep this in mind with regards to life in general.
Sometimes things just dont go our way. We've all experierenced those days where nothing seems to go right. But maintaing a POSITIVE perspective makes all the difference in the world. It's like the old saying, Is the glass half empty or half full.
Despite the fact that you may have been slammed with 3 hours of homework, you should sya, hey at least its not 4 or 5 hours. My point is that there is a bright side to everything, and finding that bright side and focusing on it makes life a hell of a lot easier.
See yall on Tuesday.

Yo!!! It's raining , its pouring, the old man is snoring. He went to bed and bumped his head and didn't get up in the morning. Was the old man drunk? Why did he bump his head? Was his perspective different from the bed than where he was before? Did his perspective change when he bumped his head? My perspective would, I would be PISSED off!!!! C YA Monday ladies and gentlemen.

Hey everybody! I just wanted to say that I think the perspective thing is a really neat idea. It is different to see the perspectives of so many objects and people. Anyhoo, I have some ideas on what I want to write about for my paper. My main idea is the movie "Big" with Tom Hanks. Another idea of mine is "Remember the Titans". I'm not too sure what to write about yet so I'll figure it out soon enough! I hope everybody has a wonderful weekend and I'll see you Monday!!
