Dang, now I've gotta get the Hartwell too! Unless that story's in the Dozois? I've already got the Hartwell fantasy, but his SF doesn't do much for me...
And I've got a year's worth of F&SF to get caught up on...
sheesh. I'm slack.

No, haven't read it yet either, but I was pleased when I learned it was forthcoming. As much as I liked "Measure of All Things," I found the resolution dissatisfying. It felt like part of a longer piece, so now we'll get the next part.
I wonder if these are novel excerpts?

Greg...yeah, I've just bought a copy of the most recent F&SF, but haven't read it. Have you?

Derek:
You know about the follow-up to "The Measure of All Things" in this month's (or next month's) F&SF? "Bronte's Egg," or something like that.

You talking about "The Dog said Bow-wow" (or something like that)? Yeah, I thought it was a pretty good read, but I also thought it was silly.
I saw the Dozois YB in the bookstore yesterday but I didn't buy it because I'm supposed to review it for Strange Horizons...but they haven't sent me the review copy yet. Argh.
From Hartwell's collection, the story I've liked best so far is "The Measure of All Things", about the care home for mistreated biotoy Saurs.
