Now that looks like something Tim McCormick would do. Tim are you lurking?

I love those little things. Wonder if they can build to use on golf courses? Of course, putting 2 adults in those seats and getting in and out frequently might not work so well!

I had wanted to build a street legal car from one of those Legend racecars that were 5/8 scale '38 Fords. They used 750cc or 1000cc motorcycle engines. They looked like they would be fun.

It's Saturday, and the high today in Indpls will be 68 degrees with sunshine!

Get out there and DO something today! This could be the last nice Saturday until April!

---This message has been brought to you by the folks who think you're still young enough to enjoy the outdoors.

Morning all. Dan, I plan to do just that. I've got some laundry to do first so that will require staying inside, but I plan to wash the car this afternoon.
Have to make some phone calls also. Grandson, Mitchell, has H1N1 and is home with high fever. Gotta check on him. May make some homemade chicken and noodles and take to drop off. Mark won't let me in the house. Such a nice son! Gotta call Matt and find out when I can get my baby fix this weekend.
So I'm off to go DO something. You all have a great day. Later

Our car needed more fixin' than it was worth. Almost got a powder blue '06 mustang convertible. But after driving it, it was just too noisy for me. Guess that's part of getting old.

Helping care for a friend's mother for a few days. She is worried about him while he's in hospital, not sleeping well, a little confused, lots of pain and no appetite. So I told her I'd go get anything she wanted for lunch today. What sounded good? She wanted a chicken sandwich from Arby's, a diet coke from McDonald's and some potatoes and gravy. Did I mention had already gone to 2 stores to get the kind of paper napkins she wanted earlier today while picking up her prescriptions. And after giving me the exact money, would a also get some caffiene free diet coke....she weighs 86 pounds and..... She needed help in and out of bed until my back was turned and then seemed to get up fine to get something she had forgotten. Do you think she's working me just a little? She is a sweetheart but hope my mother never hears about it! A few days of this kind of service will be PLENTY!

Ben Davis Band placed 10th in Bands of America Regionals at Lucas Oil last night. (Sat. Night) Now it's on to Lucas again for the 3rd straight weekend next week for Bands of America Grand Nationals. Bands from all over the United States come for that one. This week it was just Tenn., Ky, Il., Iowa, Misouri. They perform on Thursday for the preliminaries. Good Luck BD.

Afternoon all. Just back from watching Mataline. Matt is tearing out walls in their TV room and Jackie needed to clean house so I went over after church to watch Mataline while they both worked. Oh she's growing so much. We had a fun time in her bedroom watching the butterflies. She has butterflies on her mobile and on her walls and the bed bumpers. So we named them all and I told her a story about them sprinkling this magic dusting powder on her cheeks, her ears, her chin and her nose, and when they sprinkle it on her belly it makes her giggle. She loved it. The four on the mobile are Josephine, Annabelle, Clarabell and Mary. The big butterfly on her bed bumper is Betty. Sure hope I can remmeber all those names. We had a fun time and Matt told me again how I'm the one who can make her coo and giggle and squeel. We laugh a lot and she gets so excited. I think I'm just relaxed and I just talk to her in a normal voice and tell her stories. Then again, maybe I'm just sillier than everyone else. We have adventures together. Can't wait until I can get her on the floor and we use the throw rug as a magic carpet. Her big brother used to love that. We flew all over the world on that throw rug.
Ok, OK, I'll get back to reality now. Gorgeous day out there. I've got the house open and a wonderful breeze is coming in. You all have a great afternoon. Later.

Good afternoon Alum. Finally getting online here @ Diane's. All is well here. We have been sitting out on the deck this afternoon watching the river flow by. It is 72 as I type this. I've been away for quite a while. I'm still not hooked up @ home yet. Diane said that her computer was acting funny some time back. I decided to come in here today to see what it was doing. It is working fine. Go figure. I'm about over my lung infection that I had. Dr told me that had I waited for a couple more days , I would have been in the hospital with walking pneumonia. Just what I would have needed. I'm taking 500 milligrams of an antibiotic twice a day and using an inhaler every 4 hours. Sure has helped. I have all of my Christmas shopping finished. I still have to address my Christmas cards though. Only 46 more days until Christmas. If any of you have been thinking about trying buffalo burgers, go fo it. They are delicious. Diane says Hello. All of you enjoy your week. I'll drop back in real soon.

Bob, glad to hear you are getting better and back on board. Yes, this was a great day for sure. Say Hey to Diane.

Went to a nephew's 4th birthday party Sat. night, then today we went to our Fall Dance with the Polka Booster Club. Tomorrow, the Water Dept. is coming out to replace our water meter. Then work the next 2 days, then a few days off, then I think we are going to another Polka dance over the weekend...whew! Fun being retired, so to speak.

Helen, retired shouldn't include working the next 2 days. There's just something wrong with that sentence!!! Sounds like you are going to have a great week. Hope everyone does.
