Snow coming here again today too. Though now it looks like the majority of the snowfall will start during tomorrow's rush hour. I won't be going anywhere. Wake me up when it quits.

I'll give you a wake up call Thursday afternoon, Chris! Just talked to Fox - he's working but doesn't think he'll be working all that long today. I guess business is kind of slow toward the airport.

I see that the Colts were greeted by 11 fans at the airport!

And those 11 people, who stood for hours in the cold, weren't allowed within several hundred feet of the team when the plane finally landed.

Okay, our rainy 61 day doesn't seem quit so gloomy. Nephew and family here for the week. Hate for company to come this far and not get outside to play. They could stay up north and not get out to play! But guess they don't have to go out and shovel anything.

Thanks for asking. He is starting radiation this week and will be every day in his mouth for 7 weeks. Please pray for the strength it is going to take to get through it. Will also be having some chemo treatments. They both have an amazing faith through this and their love continues to shine.

Fun site to play with. Add your own faces, type in words and then can email. Will say whatever words you type. May have to cut and paste to get to site...

Just sent one to Bill. Thought he might enjoy "talking" to grandkids via this format!

Dan: I don't know how the 11 fans knew where the Colts were going to deplane. It wasn't advertized. They deplaned at the old Post Office Hub at the airport.

Been working on in-laws taxes. Tax Act.com said they got a refund of $1400. It gave them credits of $1400 when they only paid $800 in estimated taxes. I think I'll figure and submit it myself. They are mistaken.

From a 2010 tax credit website. I think the calculation may be right.

New payroll tax credit of $400 per worker and $800 per couple in 2009 and 2010. "This credit would be calculated at a rate of 6.2% of earned income and would phase out for taxpayers with adjusted gross income in excess of $75,000 -- and $150,000 for married couples filing jointly," says Mike D'Avolio, a senior tax consultant at Intuit, which among other things makes the TaxTurbo software. He thinks this credit is particularly helpful because it "cuts taxes for more than 95% of working families in the United States." He says that in March or April 2009, employees will begin seeing a decrease in what's held for taxes in their paychecks.

Tax credits can end up being a negative tax (i. e. get back more than you put in). I remember getting the earned income credit when Emily was born and I was still in college. I couldn't believe they just gave me $800. I was a very happy camper.

Dan, Didn't hear about those peole at the Airport but there were several waiting outside the Colts Complex on 56th. Street also. They were on the news on TV. They were told not to come onto the Colts property so they waited across the street. Lots of the players rolled down their windows and waved to them.

Sorry Chris I should have qualified that by saying the return of $1400 was on State Tax refund. They only paid $800 estimated tax and had no Earned Income.

When I figured it myself Chris: they only get back $481. I can't figure out how to givfe them any more tax credit.

Hey Dan: Yeah I read the article in Indpls Star. They deplaned at the "CLOSED" postal sorting hub. I'ts on the far Northwest side of airport (very remote). How did they know where the plane was going to stop.
