Yep, the footage of bombers and other things come directly from the Strokes' vid Hard to Explain which comprises of a lot of stock footage (cars racing, cockpit interiors, animated universe graphics). Mr. Wen totally resequenced this footage and set it to the beat of the song. He even managed to find synchronicities between the two videos. (Christina sings "...dance all night" and it cuts to the time-lapse footage of nightclub dancers from the Hard to Explain video. "...Impress me" is followed by the office worker making a business presentation.) His bootleg edit makes more sense than The Strokes' own video! And, thankfully, he cut out all of Christina's dance numbers. Very impressive.
