Thor: /m1 go to the command line (i.e. Terminal) and run: cd ~/Desktop (if you downloaded it there) unzip vm.zip you'll get the long file name with the right extension. If you run stuffit expander, the file name (and the association with QT) is lost. I love those buzzin' guitars on the Stroke's component. Is the rest of the album as good?

Thor, I was able to play this on my Mac. Powerbook G4 OSX 10.1.5 using Quicktime 6. The key was to change the file to an extension of .mpeg.
This amalgam was incredible. Incredible and troubling.

Yep, the footage of bombers and other things come directly from the Strokes' vid Hard to Explain which comprises of a lot of stock footage (cars racing, cockpit interiors, animated universe graphics). Mr. Wen totally resequenced this footage and set it to the beat of the song. He even managed to find synchronicities between the two videos. (Christina sings "...dance all night" and it cuts to the time-lapse footage of nightclub dancers from the Hard to Explain video. "...Impress me" is followed by the office worker making a business presentation.) His bootleg edit makes more sense than The Strokes' own video! And, thankfully, he cut out all of Christina's dance numbers. Very impressive.
The "Hard to Explain" vid is readily available on most P2P networks. It's interesting to watch both videos in their original form in comparison.

I think this is proof enough of the formulaic nature of pop music. There music be a software program that they feed information into, and then it spits out a song. Perhaps they type in keywords like "longing" and "belly-button" and "subservient", and then the software knows which chords to put into the song.
That mash-up wasn't nearly berating enough. Give me John Oswald or Evolution Control Committee or People Like Us anyday.
That is all,

Neat video, taking the 'stroke of genius' unauthorized mix to the next level. Are the scenes of planes, bombers, and space from a Strokes 'Hard to Explain' video? Zipping it up is hardly worth the extra steps... only saves less than 5%. To assist in locating this file on your favorite P2P networks, if anyone happens to be sharing it: MAGNET programs (currently just Shareaza): The Strokes Vs Christina Aguilera - A Stroke of Genius.mpg (36,864,004 bytes / 35.2 MB) ( Bitzi Ticket Info )
EDonkey/Overnet: The Strokes Vs Christina Aguilera - A Stroke of Genius.mpg (36,864,004 bytes / 35.2 MB)
FastTrack (Kazaa/Grokster/IMesh, requires sig2dat tool): The Strokes Vs Christina Aguilera - A Stroke of Genius.mpg (36,864,004 bytes / 35.2 MB)
I'll be sharing the MPEG over Gnutella on and off for the next few days.

Has anyone been able to get this to play on a Mac? I should know how to do this, but can't get it working.
