Okay, I didn' realize the comments were reverse-sorted, and so now I am lame. Nevermind. :-)

I had a lot of ways I could have made this funnier, but I felt that it would have dimished the purpose, which is to honestly prove a legitimate point, and possibly change Apple's position. I'm just glad some people find it amusing at the same time...

There's another excellent parody over at http://fury.com/

While you are there check out the "AOLiza" link. It's over a year old but is absolutely classic.

It was missing a key element! It has to end with "My name is so-and-so, and I'm a Production Assistant". Still funny stuff. I just want to smack that dork in the ugly shirt with spikey hair and thick glasses who's on the inside cover of Time every damn month.

Apple computers are good machines. It's just that there is more alternatives available that have more options.

I haven't been inside yet, but from the picture in the New York Post the other day, it appears that there is a gargantuan Mark's head poster in Apple's new Flagship-but-not boutique in SoHo.

Mark, your face appears on a large billboard on southbound US101, somewhere between Mountain View and San Jose. I noticed it a few times, and was mildly creeped out by the expression of the person Apple chose to stick on the large ad.

And now I find out that I have some random (and relatively obscure) connection to the person on the billboard. Small world, eh?

You know what Bill Hicks always said: "Do a commercial and you're off the artistic role call.... forever."

I want an animated caricature of *ME*!

I already am an animated caricature of me...

And "pneumatic" is just about as good a word to describe Björk as any I've ever heard. Must post that one on Blue-Eyed Pop post haste.

Stefan, Bernard is sent to Iceland, Helmholtz is sent to the Falklands, eventually to be rescued by Maggie Thatcher.

There's also the Macboy ads featuring Bill Gates and "Dell Dude" Steve.

Apple invented the PC, overall they invented the OS, and Microshit and their crappy PeeCee making fuckchimps are just proving imitation is flattery and that they don't possess any creativity or originality. The ad campaign just fits into this from the past, to the present, and in the future; Apple leads and the dumb PeeCee users only follow.

Um, weren't the misfits of Brave New World sent to the Falklands?

As a Macintosh user, and someone born in Iceland, I say: Yeah, why not? At least the MacOS is localized for the Icelandic language, something they had to threaten to sue MicroSoft over to get done there. (Was it ever?)

I'm surprised we haven't seen more Switch parodies, but maybe that's because the Windows users are all too blissed out on Soma to come up with anything creative. And yes, I find Bjork very pneumatic.

I initially thought the campaign was just silly and harmless, but I'm starting to have second thoughts.

OK, first a commercial, then a billboard (his face is on one that's off of 101 south in the Bay Area) and now, a parody. Wow. All for buying a different computer.

I just got into Linux. Where's my personal ad campain? oh wait... that's right, Linux is free & stuff. DOH!

But seriously tho - you can't parasail or hang-glide with a PC, for real.

Now, I'm jealous...I want

The cartoon is hilarious...
