Good deal with the two novels a year plan (and one story a month, to boot!). I'm getting psyched about starting a novel of my own.

Don't know what the scene's like near you (sounds like you've already got some interested parties). :) But it took me damn near a year and a half of trying to get a group going with some decent traction. It's great now, but it took a long time.
