I hope someone can help me at "Trinity" I have been trying to track down your pastor, A.C. Bryant. We were room mates in college in North Carolina. It appears that he is leaving his service to your church, and I am in hopes that this message will be passed on to him. I appreciate any help that might be provided. Best regards, Bob Gomer, Richmond, Va. boblgomer@cs.com

Yes Julie, all 3 performances were great and we enjoyed the presentation so much. I have sent bulletins to both Maynard and Dorotha Stothard. Maynard had a heart attack about a month ago, was in the hospital for a week, and then to rehab for 2 weeks. Dorotha cannot give him the care that he needs so he had to go to New York to live with his daughter Vicki who works at home and will be there 24 -7 for him. A quarter of the heart is dead and kidneys only operating at 50% . If anyone would like their addresses I have them, just contact me at rsemans1@tampabay.rr.com. Also I love to see you doing the signing, Julie Happy Easter to all! Sylvia & Dick

A BIG THANK YOU is extended to everyone who praised and glorified God through their participation in or support of the Easter Cantata in any way. It was successful because we all worked together to proclaim God's message to all in attendance. I pray you were blessed by the performance and received a deeper understanding of God's passionate love for us.
The Chancel Choir wishes you a Blessed and Happy Easter!

Micah Matthew Miltimore is finally here. Born January 8th, at 7:58A.M. He weights 10 lbs 2 3/4 oz. and is 19 inches long. Yes, he made us wait and was as big as I had expected, however it was well worth the wait. We will see you on Sunday.
May God answer your prayers.

Thank you Pastor A.C.
I came to you with personal problems, housing and employment. I came here from thousands of miles away tothis strange and new place finding my dreams dashed by circumstances. Friends fell away from my side, opportunity failing and my hopes of happiness fading; I came to you.
It was not that you offered me new avenues to explore but rather that you offered me confidence that you would be there for me when I need a friend the most. You bolstered my strength to carry on with the assurance that you would be there should my path become challenged beyond my capacity to cope.
Thank you and thank God for being there.

Cecil, Thank you so much for letting us know about this latest development regarding what one can and cannot say from the pulpit. We knew this might be coming and just can't believe that it has. Talk about a violation of the first amendment and the seperation of church and state. If we as Christians don't take a stand we will find ourselves in a really big mess. Please e-mail me at kathyhbryant@verizon.net if you hear anything else. We have signed this petition and will be forwarding it to everyone in our address books.

My name is Nancy...I got a call today at work and found out our neighbors had a fire. The 11 year old son should not have been cooking, but did cook when he got in from school anyway....he left the pan on the stove with nothing in it and the next thing he knew, it started and the fire grew......it was horrible, their home, devastating....Their living room, kitchen, laundry room, dining room is destroyed, it was so much worse than I thought...all appliances are gone, ceiling, roof, carpet, all the blinds melted throughout the house...all rooms are covered in smoke and ash....I have never seen anything like it...so so awful...and they do not have much money at all. She just told me they were not even going to put lights on the house, buy them after the holiday when she could save some money....they are the nicest family, I could not stop crying after I saw it. If you know of anyone or any organization that helps victims of fire please let me know....Their computer, television, stereo, all gone....laundry, all their clothes that were in there are gone....What a horrible shame.....their Christmas tree, decorations, everything - gone....thank you, Nancy 813-417-7385

Three things........ First I would like to wish all, a very Happy "Full of Food" thanksgiving.. Second, I would like to be the first to wish all, A Very Merry CHRISTmas, and a Safe Healthy New Year, all year. Third, and this is a minor issue, easily resolved.. To whom ever is taking care of this Web Site, you may have not noticed, but your eraser, must have become worn, some of the messages are a few months old.. But that's okay, I don't mind rereading some of them,,,,,,,

It is with great sadness and at the same time great joy that I write to say that Rita Dixon passed away this morning. For those of you reading this that haven't heard, after attending A.C's Wednesday night bible study, Rita was meeting with her Emmaus accountability group and suffered a massive stroke. I don't know of any one person that loved our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ more that she did. And her love for Him was with the innocence of a child. She was excited about the day she would be able to rejoice with Him in heaven. God blessed her with a wonderful gift of worship and praising him through litugical dance. Whenever I had the pleasure of watching her, there was no doubt in my mind where she was spiritually. It was just a few years ago that she believed that she was so unworthy there was no way God could ever love her. Fortunately she found out the truth - that He had loved her before she was even born. A.C. and I both feel very fortunate to have witnessed the transformation in her life and she will definitely be missed by us and many! Her memorial service will be Monday evening at Trinity. Our thoughts and prayers are with Charlie and her kids and grandkids.

Hi to all the Children of God at Trinity. Not having rec'd letter such as described in previous posting, I cannot reply to specifics. However, when we join a church congregation (United Methodist or otherwise), our verbal assent is to accept Jesus Christ as our Savior & Lord. That promise is for God's eternity, not just a humman lifetime or a pastor's appointment. We serve a great God who is in charge, and He is working matters out on His timetable. If there is difficulty at Trinity, perhaps it points to a problem we all have in not making Christ FIRST in our lives. Love to all, Milt

I pray, in lite of the letter that we received regarding the hardship at Trinity, that everyone will rally around A.C. (and Kathy) plus the leadership at Trinity. Now is the time that we turn our hearts toward God and trust that His Will be done. Let us pray that anyone that has been led astray by false stories, etc. turn their hearts toward God and do what is right. The last few years have been a struggle to say the least. It is time that those of us that truly love the Lord and want to do His Will take a stand and pray, rebuking the presence of evil that may still be lurking.

President's Memorial Day Call to prayer May 18, 2006
Bush Proclaims Memorial Day Prayer for Peace
In honor of the men and women who have dedicated their lives to protecting the U.S. through military service -- and those who have lost their lives in that service -- President Bush declared May 29, 2006, as a day of prayer for permanent peace.
"Those who lost their lives in the defense of freedom helped protect our citizens and lay the foundation of peace for people everywhere," proclamation states. "On Memorial Day, a grateful Nation pays tribute to their personal courage, love of country, and dedication to duty."
The president encouraged people to gather at 11 a.m. local time to unite in prayer, observe the National Moment of Remembrance at 3 p.m. local time and display the flag at half-staff.

Hi everyone! Schools almost out, and it's almost summertime! You know what that means....VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL June 19th - 23rd! This years theme is ADVENTURE OF THE TREASURE SEEKERS. It uses the fun and adventure of an archaeology dig to help children discover and experience joy in knowing they are treasures in Gods eyes and loved beyond measure. Each day the children will have an opportunity to dig for a treasure reminding them of the days bible story.
Of course this means we need VOLUNTEERS. As of today, I'm short 3 teachers & 5 teachers helpers! If worse comes to worse, we'll switch to the children having "stations" instead of a "classroom" setting b/c it requires less man power. But even then, we still have requirements for student/ teacher ratio. Please pray about this, how you can help, pray that others will help! Thanks so much!

I wish to thank all who participated in the presentation of "The Day He Wore My Crown" yesterday. As Jeanine stated it took a lot of time and hard work to bring the music to life and make the presentation successful. I pray the cantata touched your life in a special way. Thank you also for all of the kind words expressed to the various participants. It was a joy and blessing to end the season with this wonderful cantata.
Have a blessed summer. Julie

March 16th is Absolutely Incredible Kids Day! Get out your pens and write a letter to your kids in your life to let them know how much they're loved! This is a great keepsake for kids! Here's a link for more info... http://www.campfireusa.com/a_i_kid_day/mainpage.htmlI don't know anything about the organization, but I love the idea of showing our kids how much they're loved. Everyone mark your calandars for October 22! It's the 2nd Annual Harvest Festival at Zephyr Park (in Z-Hills) from 12-5pm. It's a celebration of Jesus Christ with the Zephyrhills community with food, games, music, crafts, and lots more!
All the different churches in the area will have booths set up. Trinity UMC will have a booth selling baked items, fresh fruit and bottled water. We will also have an area set up where children can have their face painted (maybe) and play a game called "Horse Lasso Toss". There will also be a chili cook-off. If one of the ministry's of Trinity is interested in participating in the chili cook-off, please contact me (Sarah Belmonte) before Sunday September 24, 2005. Sooner if possible! In order for Trinity to be a success at the 2nd Annual Harvest Fest, we need volunteers. We will need volunteers for set-up, cashiers, face painting, handing out Trinity info., donating baked goods (cookies, brownies, rice crispy treats, muffins).overseeing Horse Lasso Toss game, & tear down. I will be posting more info in the near future on this message board, in the Chimes, and in the Sanctuary Narthex and bulletin inserts. We are greatful for any help you can offer, whether it's one hour or all five hours! Please pray about helping Trinity reach out to the Zephyrhills community and keep an eye out for more information soon!

Hi Kathy,
We've gone through the chaning-of-the-e-mail a couple of times...I know how it is. I haven't heard back from A.C., so I'll try and call either from Michigan or Florida (coming on 8/17). We'd like to sneak in a song special (my daughter and her friend) - so I'd like to speak to him about that. Hopefully, it can happen. Thanks again.

I agree with Janet. A. C. does inspire through God's teachings. He is an excellent example of a man that has been called to preach God's word. This seems to be a personal attach on A. C. I know a lot of people both at Trinity and in the communities of Zephyrhills and Wesley Chapel and he is very well respected. It is people like you that make a preacher's life miserable. It appears to me that you are not familiar enough with scripture otherwise you wouldn't not be handling your issues in this forum. I also agree with John and Karin - you should make a formal complaint and stop using the internet to air your feelings about any one person. P.S. I'm suprised A. C. doesn't talk more about money. Come to think of it, he talks less about it than any other preacher I have ever heard. As he said yesterday, it takes money to do the work of the Lord. I for one give 100% of my 10% tithe and give more when I can. As a result of this I not only do as God has commanded me to do, but I receive tremendous blessings. Thank you A. C. for all that you do. May God Bless you as you bless others by being obedient to Him.

I DO NOT SEE THE NEED TO WRITE YOUR DISGUSTS ON THE INTERNET. I DO NOT KNOW OF ANYONE WHO DOESNT HAVE MONEY ISSUES. I STILL ENCOURAGE YOU TO FILE A FORMAL COMPLAINT IF YOU HAVE ONE. ALL YOUR DOING BY WRITTING IT ON THE ITNERNET IS HURTING FEELINGS. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN AT OUR CHURCH? MAYBE ITS TIME FOR YOU TO MOVE ON NOT A.C. THERE ARE PROBLEMS WITH EVERY CHURCH BUT WITH OUR PRAYERS WE WILL MAKE IT THROUGH THIS TIGHT TIME.

I wish we had A.C. here in St. Augustine. I would then attend the Methodist church again instead of the one that I have chosen. Since I moved, I have struggled finding a preacher like him to inspire me in God's teachings. A.C. if they don't want you there, they would love you up here and it is a beautiful place. If it weren't for the giving of church members, the church would not be able to do as much as they do in spreading God's word. Think about it and stop complaining about it.

We have never been more happy with a Minister then with A.C. and Frank. This person is not doing God's work they are being mean spirited. A.C and Frank make god's work fun and make being involved with the Church fun. If you have a disagreement with anything going on with the Church or the sermons or ministers then contact SPR committe and make a formal complaint not on the internet. You are not doing God's work!!!!!!!!!!!! May christ help this man or woman through their evil mean-spirited ways see the glorious light of GODS WORK.

I agree Brenda that there must be more kind ways to discuss this. I applaud the person who responded, at least he put an e-mail address. It has been the policy of the church that anonymous e-mail, letters etc. are not responded to however, I wish that this person that is so angry would be able to speak with A.C. directly regarding this. The Message Board is not intended to post stuff like this anyway. Thank you for sharing your feelings.

I have Trinity's quick topics sent to my email, something I started when I was attending Trinity and didn't turn off because many of you are still "family" to me. I have no idea what event triggered the last messages but I am a little disappointed at the mean spirited tone. I don't believe this is what Christ had in mind when he said the second commandment was to love our neighbors as ourselves. As long as there are people there will be differences but there must be more kind ways to discuss them.

Why do you say that Frank was removed? I got the message that A. C. was trying to involve laity more. I think that is a great idea. It is something that is fresh. I'm tired of hearing Frank "read" everything his does from his prayers to his children's message. If you check out www.sermons4kids.com/one_plus_one.html you can see for yourself. I don't understand why you would feel that the sermon this morning was stupid - it was straight out of God's word. I've been coming to Trinity now for over 4 years and I have never heard anything stupid come out of A.C.'s mouth while he is preaching. Are you by any chance one of those that robs God by not tithing? Or are you one of those that holds back their tithes because you don't like how some things are done? If so, it's not too hard to figure out where this ugly comment came from because you are in a small group of disgruntled people. If you are so unhappy, why don't you find another church to be disgruntled in? I strongly disagree with your statement as to needing a new preacher. During the course of my life I have heard a lot of preachers preach sermons and A.C. is one of the best. A. C., if you read the previous post, please don't pay any attention to it. You are loved and appreciated by the majority at the church.

I am trying to contact Sara. In looking at the VBS material on line at Cokesbury she mentioned a "Parent Pack" that was put together for the VBS. I would like information about that as we are supporting the Heifer project during VBS and I am the Mission person and that sounds great.. I am 73, retired pastor, my wife is Pastor of Victoria United Methodist Church here in Victoria, VA. Any help I could get ASAP would be appreciated as VBS is next week and I am a day late and a dollar short. Blessings.

Friends and community leaders, My name is Stephen Gorham. I am a resident of Plant City and am running for District 10 Senate. First, I want to make it clear that the following is not a solicitation for funding or support. I would like to organize focus groups around the district so that I can hear first hand what the real issues are for your respective congregations and our community as a whole. In thinking about this it only seemed appropriate to contact all of you to aid in this effort. All of you are on the front lines when it comes to the issues affecting your congregations and communities. If we work together to get the issues recognized then no matter who gets elected he or she will have to deal with these issues. I believe that we could really bring a lot of problems to the front that may be getting ignored. Naturally, I will not disclose my political intentions to the focus groups or solicit any support from the members. I merely want to be part of an information exchange that could be used to foster change in our community. If you are interested please contact me at: 813-754-9632 home 863-608-2409 cell Sincerely, Stephen Gorham

Hello to all. As you may know, Vacation Bible School is right around the corner...June 6th - 10th. For all of you folks that are still down in FL, the VBS program is in need of arificial Christmas trees to use as a backdrop. We're looking for the typical 5' or larger, but will take anything you've got. If you are so gracious as to let us borrow your tree, please make sure your box is clearly marked with your name and phone number and please put it near the stage area in the fellowhip hall no later than this Sunday (June 5th). If you need help carrying it, please do not hesitate to give me a call at 782-2709. Thanks in advance!

December 27, 2004 The United Methodist Committee on Relief is responding through its ecumenical partners to the catastrophe in South Asia. On Sunday, December 26, a massive 9.0 magnitude earthquake off the west coast of the northern Indonesian island of Sumatra caused tidal waves that have so far claimed the lives of more than 22,000 people in Sri Lanka, Indonesia, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Maldives and Bangladesh, according to news reports. Thousands of people are still missing and tens of thousands of people have been displaced. The full extent of the disaster is still not known in more remote areas in Sri Lanka, India and Indonesia, where ecumenical parters are responding.
Please give to Advance #274305 and designate "South Asia Emergency" on the memo line of your check. Give through your local United Methodist church

=====------->>> We THANK Y O U >>>-------===== *** Countless Prayers have been ANSWERED *** G R E A T N E W S Dear Family & Friends & our "Wonderful TRINITY FAMILY" First and foremost, I thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I am happy to tell you that Ethan's surgery was a huge success! The actual surgery was Monday morning and took a little over 3 hours. The neurosurgeon told us afterwards that she was satisfied with the results. She said that even she was amaZed at how Ethan's face rounded out, and he face took shape, the moment that she made the first separation of the bone. He went into intensive care after his time in recovery, so only Michael & Amy were able to actually see him Monday. This afternoon, Tuesday, he was already moved from the intensive care to a normal room. Amy said that as early as this morning he was smiling and quietly laughing. Having just now gotten home from the hospital, I can tell you first hand that he is doing GREAT...! His smile is ever-present, and as before, he rarely ever cries. His appetite is good tonight and it's just amaZing how good he looks. He still has some tiny tubes and wires attached but there is no doubt that God has blessed us. Your countless prayers have once again worked wonders. If you have ever been in doubt about the "Power of Prayer," let me assure you that it is alive and well and there is NO better Medicine than PRAYER...! Each of our hearts go out to you and yours, thanking you for each and every prayer. God bless you, Ethan-Michael-Amy Perry -&- Stephen - Penny & Steve Parker

Your P R A Y E R S are needed <<<=================================================>>>
It's difficult to write this but, your personal prayers are needed.
*** Ethan Michael Perry, one of our precious grandchildren, has an eXtremely serious problem that requires neurosurgery. ***
Ethan is only 8 weeks old but today the doctor, a neurosurgeon, confirmed that Ethan has what is called, CRANIOSYNOSTOSIS That's a huge word for such a L'il guy but it's even more huge in it's implications.
On Ethan's routine 8 week checkup, just two days ago, the doctor discovered this. *** What is CRANIOSYNOSTOSIS...? *** You are probably aware that babies have what we refer to as their "Soft Spot" on top of their head. That "SPOT" is actually something called SUTURES, and there are really more than one, They are soft openings, division lines, that run in two directions across the skull. They are between the separate parts of the skull. These are there so that a babies brain can grow within the skull. This soft bone structure eXpands as the baby grows, and eventually changes to a solid, single protection for the brain.
Ethan's sutures have already closed, growing together and are NOT allowing his brain to grow without putting enormous pressure on it.
Without surgery this pressure would cause various types of brain damage, from blindness, to paralysis. There is no way to specifically calculate what portions of the brain may be damaged and in what way they may respond.
* ** Ethan is scheduled for surgery on Monday, Aug. 30 ** *
The neurosurgeon is a lady who specialized in this problem. She is eXtremely gifted and we have confidence that she will be able to correct this problem but, it is scary for all of us. The surgery requires one or more incisions and then, they will cut away strips of bone, creating openings for the brain to eXpand and grow. This will eventually grow back together, just as it should have slowly done from birth. The neurosurgeon eXplained that this is not actually brain surgery, but it is a difficult and risky procedure for Ethan. After the surgery, his precious little face, with his heart warming smile, will be terribly swollen, bruised, and his entire head will look disfigured. The healing time could be a year or more. It is a traumatic thought that we are all trying to deal with.
* * * The good news is that "WE HAVE FAITH...!" * * *
With our FAITH and your PRAYERS, I am confident that the Lord will keep his hands on Ethan, and he will do just fine.
It's going to be a shock for us to see him, and it will be a difficult time watching him grow, with the ever present worry that somehow this surgery hasn't come in time to prevent some brain damage. Time and God's Blessings are all we have.
We need YOUR PRAYERS !
There is NO Greater Power of healing than that we get through prayer. Please keep Ethan Michael in YOUR Prayers.
I thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
Every single prayer is important and will be greatly appreciated...!

Just a brief report on our trip to Washington, D.C. for the dedication of the World War II Memorial on May 29. It is a very inspiring sight as a memorial to the whole country as all walks of life shared in war effort, 1941-1945. The campaigns and battles were highlighted, but the humbling experiences were members of the current generation who wanted to shake our hands & say "Thank You" We plan to leave on Wed., June 16, for MI, returning on Aug. 29. Please pray for us. Thanks.

Thanks to all who helped with presenting the Gospel through the dramatization of the Living Lord's Supper last weekend. I, personally, have received compliments for the presentation. Persons say they were moved by the message. As one of the disciples, I know it wasn't me, but God's Holy Spirit working in lives of the viewers. God bless all who did the real work for Christ. Milt

Charles and Betty Kelley, I am so sorry that you feel the way that you do regarding the article that was placed in the Chimes. I for one think it really hits home for those that don't tithe. In answer to your question of "What was wrong with the old Sanctuary?", nothing was "wrong" with it - it makes a fabulous Fellowship Hall. There was a need for a new building to be built as I believe it was laid on Pastor's heart. Mr. Bandy and Mr. Smith, being very active in the church, were the perfect ones to head up the Building Committee and because of their faith and obedience we can now worship in not only a beautiful new building, but one that has space for more people to come and worship God. You see, God has commanded us to "Go out and tell all the World" and when we are obedient to that command then there will be space for all to worship. As to your answer to "Why heat or cool a building needed only 6 months of the year?", the electric bill at Trinity rose less than $200.00 per month for the year of 2003. There are many that are committed to God that not only tithe their fair share, but also go above and beyond. The office furniture in the front office was not purchased with anyone's tithing, nor was the filing cabinets in Marge's office, nor were the chairs for the Chapel, the new carpet in the Education building, plus a lot of what is in the new kitchen, the furniture in the narthex, or the couch in the Bride's room. I don't think anyone can be penny wise or pound foolish when it comes to being obedient to God. As far as "How about Old Time Religion Songs, not Contemporary" what can I say? You can't please everyone. . .

I believe the article in the Chimes was meant to be a light hearted reminder for us to return to God the portion of our gifts from him we should. Hopefully the subsequent remark was also in a lighthearted vein. This said I think some things need to be made known. I cannot give you an amount that was budgeted or has been spent on the evening Praise and Worship Service...I can tell you in certainty that all the music now being done was purchased by members of "A Joyful Noise", the music ministry for this service, the equipment used belongs to the musicians with the exception of the keyboard. In addition with the exception of one ream of paper and seventy dollars worth of ink the bulletins for the evening service has been provided without charge for labor or materials. The staff that are involved do not receive additional pay for the additional time they spend preparing for or taking part in the evening service. I believe all of this shows our strong committment to the growth of this ministry.

Hi: Although there was a slight improvement in Jewel's vision tests yesterday, Dr. says that eye is physically fine but that nerves are apparently not recovering as fast as they should, Dr said that her vision may improve very slowly but don't know if she will ever get full vision. Jewel was of course disappointed. But as you know she is strong so keep her in your prayers Will be in touch Ted

Hi Pearl: Jewel is ok but a bit disappointed, at the eye dr this morning, they examined her eye and found that she had some inflammation of the retina, when she was given test with letter chart, she could not read the largest letter but was able to at least see the chart light ( this was an improvement from before last surgery) The doctor examined her eye thoroughly and said that other than the inflammation, the eye had completely healed and that she believed inflammation was causing vision problem, the Pred Forte should reduce the inflammation and hopefully give Jewel better vision. They had told us before that it could take several months to a year She was given another test where dr held fingers in front of her, she was able to count fingers up to about five feet away, this was also an improvement over last exam She has to come back again in December after she has been on Pred forte for 3 weeks. Her thyroid readings at thyroid Dr were all in the good range but she has to remain on same dosage of synthroid Please keep her in your prayers Ted

I need this back. If you'll do this for me, I'll do it for you.
When there is nothing left but God, that is when you find out that God is all you need. Take 60 seconds and give this a shot! All you do is simply say the following small prayer for the person who sent you this.
Father, God bless all my friends in whatever it is that You know they may be needing this day! And may their life be full of your peace, prosperity and power as he/she seeks to have a closer relationship with you.
Amen.
Then send it on to five other people, including the one who sent it to you. Within hours five people have prayed for you, and you caused a multitude of people to pray for other people. Then sit back and watch the power of God work in your life.
P. S. Five is good, but more is better.

Hello God, I called tonight To talk a little while I need a friend who'll listen To my anxiety and trial. You see, I can't quite make it Through a day just on my own... I need your love to guide me, So I'll never feel alone. I want to ask you please to keep My family safe and sound. Come and fill their lives with confidence For whatever fate they're bound. Give me faith, dear God, to face Each hour throughout the day, And not to worry over things I can't change in any way. I thank you God for being home And listening to my call, For giving me such good advice When I stumble and fall. Your number, God, is the only one That answers every time. I never get a busy signal, Never had to pay a dime. So thank you, God, for listening To my troubles and my sorrow. Good night, God, I love You too, And I'll call again tomorrow! Send this to all your friends and family. Including the person who sent it to you. Anyone that you love and care about. While sitting at your desk make clockwise circles with
your right foot.
While doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with
your right hand.
Your foot will change direction.

Hi Pearl and Anita: Had hoped to have better news after visit to eye Dr today but here is the quick and dirty.
Jewel went for checkup with eye Dr today, she first saw Dr that did cataract surgery, when they gave her vision test for left eye she could not read even the largest letter. He immediately took us upstairs to see the Dr that had done macular repair, she determined that Jewel had a retina tear and that retina was detaching. Jewel is scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning to repair retina. I will write again tomorrow evening after she has surgery, not sure if or how long this may delay our return to Z-hills. Please keep up the prayers for her speedy recovery.

Hi all:
Jewel's surgery went well this morning, they removed the cataract, repaired the macular hole and the Dr. also found a few spots where the vitreous was beginning to pull on the macular, there was no damage yet but Dr used laser to ??detach" vitreous from those spots. If left untreated they could ultimately result in torn retina.. Not sure if detach is right word but it was something like that. Surgery lasted about 2hrs and 45 minutes. She is home now and starting her face down routine, she gets checked tomorrow. Won't know final result of surgery until about 2-3 weeks as eye clears
Thanks for all the prayers

HI: Jewel went to John Hopkins today to check on a nodule on right lung that had been found on an earlier X-Ray and CatScan. They reviewed the earlier x-ray and CatScan and decided that since nodule was relatively small that they would wait until late August/early September to see if there is any change in the size of the nodule Any further testing/procedures will depend on results of CatScan.
The Doctors also had her breathing tested and it was determined that she had moderate asthma and emphysema as well as partially obstructed airway. The airway problem was improved when inhalation aerosol was given. The Dr. Said that her emphysema should not worsen rapidly since she was no longer smoking.
Think I covered everything, on Wednesday, June 4th Jewel goes in for her eye surgery at 6AM (Surgery starts at 7 30 and should take about two hours) Please keep her in your prayers.

Just in case you haven't heard the word on the street, the Trinity Youth Fellowship and the Choir is sponsoring a free concert, Monday, June 2nd at 7 pm in the sanctuary. The hard work by dozens of our brethren at Trinity in promoting this big event is such a blessing! This outpouring of support is so indicative of the powerful Spirit at work through our efforts. No wonder the name Terrific Trinity! The concert, presented by the Wesley UMC Youth Choir of Evans, GA, will present "Word on the Street" -- mixing music and drama to bring us the Word in a most thrilling experience. Praise God for this wonderful gift!

Hi everyone... Just a note to thank all who have submitted recipes for the "Trinity Cookbook" (working title). We're up to about 45 recipes to date. For all those who have not contributed yet, we really want all of our Trinity family members represented, so drag out those family treasures & pls submit. We would like to see our year round family members contribute during the summer to avoid the inevitable flurry before publication time in the fall. Once our northern friends return we will need to do a big push to get all theirs in before press time. There are many ways to submit: via email, use the great form Craig created at the Web site, drop by office, drop in collection plate, hand to myself or Kathy.. It doesn't matter how you get it here, just get it here. Let's let everyone see a slice of all the great tastes & blessings we share together as part of the Terrific Trinity family. Email: defyngravity@lycos.com or kathyhbryant@shawus.com Click the link on the Home page "Tasting God's Blessings with Terrific Trinity" to use the form.
God Bless, Sharon

Heres an idea He gave me while I was doing all that spring cleaning:
You can make www.terrific-trinity-umc.com your home page.
Heres what We had in mind:
If you make Gods website your home page, then every time you log-on the web you will register a hit on His site. Now, I know you all have your own established home pages that youre reluctant to abandon, but Weve a really neat compromise … Really! …You can have the best of both Internet entry portals; including your favorite links and Ours!
Heres what We did :
Our resource page links are now listed at both, the top and bottom of Our home page. Locally, statewide, nationwide and ecumenically, Weve included the highest quality links to satisfy any Christians needs and desires, regardless of wherever you winter, summer or dwell in the Spirit.
HERES THE KICKER… In trade for your sacrificing your home page to the greater good of His website, We will post a link to your sacrificed home page on His resource page; Mine are already there. Its accessible via the MEMBERS link. So, to get to your former home page, you click on MEMBERS and then click on your link, and there you will be: right where youre accustomed to going. Just two extra clicks. Do you have the time?
And…..Weve even made all this easier for you. Isnt He an awesome God?
On the MEMBERS page there is a submission form that you can fill out that will prompt Us to post your former link to the page. This way, everyone will share in our collective surfing savvy.
And, did you know…………..:???
You can read about how His website is administered and operated by clicking on the banner that says, Claiming the Web for Christ The more you know about what We need to do with this wonderful gift, the more youll want to get involved!

SPRING CLEANING CONTINUES:
The calendars have been brought up to speed. You can view them via a link from the home page. The Lord has been pushing me all day long. Weve published calendars out through the end of July. Please give them a once over.
If Ive made any mistakes LET ME KNOW right away. Direct access to my mailbox is provided near the end of our home page. … .And doooooont forget …….
If you have ANYTHING going on with your organization, it should be included in these calendars. Spreading the word about your group will promote increased participation. Trust Us (.sic); Thats what He wants. …and thats what we want.
On each calendar page there is a link at the top/left that will open a submission form to add calendar events and report our works to the world-wide-web in the name of Jesus Christ. Feed Us this information. THIS IS WHATS CALLED OUTREACH, BRETHREN!

TIME FOR SOME SPRING CLEANING. A number of our pages and directories need updating due to changes in leadership, committee chairs, meeting times, etc. PLEASE - If you are a member of an organization with an active page on the website, review it for out of date information and advise me. ALSO - PLEASE - If you are a member of any organization and you can't find a page devoted to your organization, ask your leadership, "What are we waiting for?" Don't ignore this marvelous interactive gift from God. After all, we continually pray to Him to "...enlarge our coast...." The web site is a direct answer. Have you ever given a dear one a gift only to discover it was not appreciated. How did THAT make YOU feel? A link to my mailbox appears at the bottom of the page. Have a Christ filled day! Craig

I also got word today that Will Dawson joined the youth from CT in working on the Farmworkers Self Help project. A large lot was cleared and part was turned into a play ground and soccer field. To get the details (correctly) talk to Will or his mom Katherine. Way to go Will.

God's church,Trinity UMC recently gave funds from the Missions budget to Farmworkers Self Help to help them feed volunteers coming from a church in CT. These young people were coming to help with some projects on property owned by Farmworkers Self Help. If you get The St. Petersburg Times, the Pasco Section of todays paper has a very nice article about these young people and what they accomplised in their time in Dade City. I'm glad that we were a small part of the effort.

COUNTDOWN TO HEART TO HEART CONFERENCE/HEALTHFEST-We need all volunteers who will be helping on Friday, February 7th and Saturday, February 8th to come for a "kick-off" meeting on Wednesday night February 5th from 6:30 to 8:00 at Trinity. The choir members can join us after practice. We need extension cords and garbage cans so if you have one that can be borrowed for Saturday please bring it on Wed. labeled with your name on it. If you can't make the meeting but will still be able to help, please let Katherine Dawson or Sylvia Semans know. The choir is sponsoring a bake sale/lemonade sale for Saturday and needs baked goods donated. Please see Ruthann Kleinhans. The Health and Wholeness Committee is very excited about this event. Our hope is to provide a service to our members and our community. We hope to see you all there(wear you Trinity shirts if you have one). Even if you are not able to help as an official volunteer, you can still play an important role by coming and representing Trinity.

The Lakeland District of the United Methodist Church is hoping to sponsor a habitat house in Polk County. They have asked all member churches to help them in this cause. The Missions Committee of Trinity has pledged five hundred dollars and if you would like to add more to this you may simply add a check to the offering. Please put Lakeland District Habitat House in the memo space so that it will be directed to the proper place. Look for our Fair Trade Coffee at the Health Fest, Feb. 8th.

Hi Everybody, We now have an address in Texas. Cleo has been kind of lonely lately so if any of you would like to send a card or call her it would be a neat surprise. Our address and phone number are: Cleo Zmek 1910-A Nogales St. Edinburg, TX 78539 Her cell phone is 956-739-2367. She works days from 7A to 7P. She likes it out there but misses all our friends here in Florida. It is quite an adjustment working in a place where the doctors don't know her and she has to prove herself all over again. Pray for her too. I hope to be out there working again by March 1st. Thank everyone at Trinity for all the support and friendship we have been so blessed to experience over the years we have been part of the Terrific Trinity Family. Sincerely Alan

Hello all: Just wanted to let you know the latest on Jewel Richard, she went to East Pasco on Monday morning, she had a problem with reduced blood flow into her left leg. Surgeon found plaque in artery in stomach that feels blood into her left leg. He removed plaque and blood flow to leg returned to normal, since the operation however she has not been eating and complained of burning/pain in throat and aesophagus when she ate or drank anything.
They called in her gastroenterologist and she is sked for endoscope tomorrow, She also had a spell of weakness, dizziness and sick to her stomach this afternoon so it was decided to leave her in for another night and do the endoscope tomorrow morning at the hospital

Just a quick note: Jewel had bloodwork, echocardiogram and stress test today, the echo and stress test did NOT indicate any problem with heart. Potassium is now at an acceptable level, so they are again talking about doing the hernia surgery, Just don't know when yet.
Many thank for your prayers

Hello all;
Just want ted to let you know about my wife's condition. She is in Rm 2126 East Pasco medical Center, not sure how long she will be there but hopefully stay will be short. Please keep her in your prayers
Here is the latest info on Jewel First of all, when she went for hernia repair surgery this morning , the anesthesiologist looked at her pre-op workup and said no way. Jewel's potassium level was 2.8 and there was an abnormal ekg. He ordered another bloodtest for potassium It came back 2.4, It had dropped .4 in five days. after conferring with surgeon, it was decided that Jewel should be admitted to the hospital They immediately started her getting potassium through the IV and called in the cardiologist. The cardiologist came about 4 30 and ordered tests for tomorrow morning including another potassium level test, a thyroid activity level test, and echocardiogram and a stress test. The cardiologist said that the ekg suggested that some part of her heart was not getting adequate oxygen. The tests tomorrow should clarify the situation.
Hernia surgery is on hold until everything is cleared up, they expect Jewel will be in hospital day or two and then depending on results of tests might operate on hernia on Friday...
I'll let you know more after the tests tomorrow
Ted Richard

Hope you can join with us. Arlene & Carl

Dear A.C. and Staff, Having only visited the site a few times to date, I have been impressed with it's content. TODAY however, I had a SPECIAL NEED, and hoped to find a source within the site for it. I may indeed be overlooking the obvious but, I have not been able to find what I need. Today is one filled with personal strife for my family and for me. We are in a major transition of many things in our lives. What I was looking for was a "PRAYER SITE" that might direct me to the proper place within the scriptures, or through some other source, which I might go to for guidance. I know that there are many books written that direct us to specific places, psalms, etc., but I had hoped to find information here. I am writing merely to suggest the creation of such a link within the Terrific-Trinity site that may direct both me and others in a time of need. I certainly realize the immense time and effort entailed in creating a web site and updating specific additions. My suggestion may not be in the realm of reality at this time. Kindly take it as it is intended, a suggestion.
In Christian love,
Steve *** DIAtime@aol.com secondary LUCKYDOC2@aol.com

To: A.C., Frank, Anita and those on the visitation committee,
On Sat. Sept. 28th from 1:30-4:00 our family is having a SURPRISE 80th Birthday Party for "Bill" William Hayden at the Lake Bernadette Clubhouse. At that time we want also to thank all of those who visited, prayed, and gave assistance to the family during the time Bill was hospitalized and in coma (for 8 weeks) after his heart surgery in November 2000.
With this in mind, I would like to invite A.C., Frank and Anita and others of the Staff who visited and prayed with Bill to join us in a time to say Praise the Lord for His Many Blessings.
It may be a birthday party, but we ask that NO gifts be brought...you may bring a card if you wish.
R.S.V.P. to our daughter, Marion Osborne at 780-2398

Funny that you ask this. A. C. was just talking about this today! The second service will be coming but we are not quite ready for it yet. We are running between 350 and 400 people in the one service and as our "Northern Friends" return there will be more in worship and we will need to go to a second service. Thank you so very much for reading the message board and for posting a message.

Reflections hasn't been activated yet. We (members of the Website Committee)really want to encourage any one at Trinity that would like to post poetry, inspirational pieces, letters, or whatever on the Website under Reflections, please do so. Just give it to one of us on the Website Committee on a floppy disk or e-mail it to one us, and we will gladly add it to those that we have now. Then when the Reflections link is activitated there will be more than just a couple of things to read. If you really have something that you would like to add but you don't want anyone to know it is from you, that's okay. It can be put on the website without your name. There are a lot of talented individuals that have something to add that will enlighten someone or ease someone's pain, and there is even more that attend Trinity that would love to read it. It may even meet a need in someones life - who knows. Remember that the website it a ministry to reach out and touch someones life in the name of Jesus. Happy surfing!

Mary,I too thjank you for using the message board. I intended to answer you, but Kathy beat me to it. Oletha will get the message, be sure.I was going to suggest you write oletha % of the church office and she can print your thanks in the Chimes, which i'm sure you receive. I'm new in the church but i called around trying to find out who you were and where you are. If you will sbscribe again to the Chimes, it will also go to Oletha. to do that, go back to the home page>site map>pastors and staff>oletha>Chimes form to order. Just be sure to include your e-mail adrress so we can e-mail you personally. Look forward to chatting with you. Isn't God wonderful to give us all these tools? And wonderful to know people are using it. Pearl Zinn

Mary, Thank you so much for your posting. This is what we hope the message board will be used for - a way of communicating. I will be sure that Oletha gets this message. Also, thank you for sharing your desire for an earlier service. When the second one will be added is going to be determined as those of you return from the North. Judging by the numbers we have had this summer, I don't think it will take very long as we approach the fall and winter months. A.C. and I both are sorry to hear that you are not out of the woods yet and hope that you will stay on the road to recovery as the "edge of the woods" gets closer every day. You and your husband will remain in our thoughts and prayers. Again, thank you so very much for utilizing the message board and do it again often! Our love to both you and your husband. God bless you!

I've been trying for months to figure out how to email something to Oletha and her Sunday school class but no luck so guess this will have to do. I'm not much for writing letters but wanted to thank Oletha and her class for the bulletins and prayers they have been sending up for me. I'm not out of the woods yet and Oletha knows that I am just bideing time waiting for the FDA but I could wait no longer to thank them for their prayers. I cannot wait for your email to be fixed so that prayer requests can be generated. It's so much easier than writing letters by hand. God bless you all and we can't wait for the early services to return. Hopefully soon. You all mean a lot to both my husband and myself.
