Oh yeah -- forgot to tell ya about my contributor's copies!
Got two copies of the Asimov's July 2002 issue with my story "Natural Order" in it. Yee-haw. Looks awesome.
My only misgivings are:
1) no illustration!
2) they said this is my "first professional sale."
No, I've sold a COUPLE stories professionally before. But I'm not gonna complain. It's freaking Asimov's!!!
And I would've liked them listing my URL for my website too, but hey, what can ya do???

Hey guys. Glad to see someone's still reading! :)
New job was good, if overwhelming. Lots of info, but looks like a good challenge, and good folks to work with. The first day's always the worst, so I'm glad to have it behind me. I was worn out last night.

Yeah, man -- I just have one more story in an antho, and one more 400-page antho to read before, um, Saturday. Doh!
I'll get it done -- I've got 5-6 hours on a plane Saturday.
I'll try and keep a journal while I'm there to share the fun...
