Should you find yourself in midtown Manhattan with a little time to kill, Badcrumble recommends a visit to the Children's Library at 20 West 53rd Street, where you can see the original Pooh, Piglet, et.al. (No Disney nonsense here, I'm talkin' the well-preserved original stuffed critters owned by the real-life Christopher Robin Milne.)
If you're in a pizza mood, check out Joe G's at 1701 Broadway. Best Sicilian-style pizza in this hemisphere, and the singing waiter looks just like my Uncle Ed.
