The t-shirts are a go! Sara and I put together a bar list and will get it posted, soon. We'd hate to disappoint those who visit our site for the research! See you at a bar! Marsha
This year, as quotes come to you for t-shirt slogans, write them down, on your skin if necessary, and pass them on to our bus drivers!

I'm sure that your research is very thorough but we just wanted to make sure that you've got the Coral Reef at Twin Lakes, Iowa included on the bar list. The ride goes by there after Rockwell City on Monday. The band "Standing Hampton" will be playing from 1-5. $2 beers. Vodka Lemonades. Po'boys-Brats-Pork Sandwiches. 6 miles north of RC. Should be a good time!!

BE sure to hit the Lakewood Ballroom and Night Club in Lake View! They will have everything there. Camping, Showers, Food, THE MUD PUPPIES for a live band. Cold Beer (including Miller Lite which you will not find in the offical beer garden!), Drinks. It is about a mile and a half from the main area... but it is right on the map as the route to take getting out of town the next morning! The Boeckmans are great people... please support them!

Dam - came back with 2 chigger bites this year. No escaping the little SOBs.
Good to see and ride with everyone this year. 2-1/2 days was not enough.

Cool picures from Chuckie at Tour de France! Try to find the one that has both Chuck and Lance in the same shot. I think there was only one but I could be wrong?

I just did my own Tour de Grumpy's between the three Grumpy's bars around Minneapolis. I blogged it here. What do you think? Jack? Anthony? Want to try that sometime?

I'm game Otis. I'm behind in both aspects of training for the big ride (bars and bikes). We'll have to work out a time we could do it.

Good job on the bar data base, I knew someone was nice enough to do this task
Do you have a list for this years specific route? Sloane Team CO2

I dunno Sloane. Last year the list made it onto the website just under the wire. I wonder if there will be any "research" this time. I'll bet things are pretty busy in the Loomis household this year.

So we just cross-reference the bar database with this years route to figure out the beer route. Sweet! Your work is done.

Awesome Tailgator, That's how it works when there's no time to drive the route! Hope those bars are still in business (ok, be optimistic Otis).

Woo hoo! The 2006 route is posted on the RAGBRAI site.
Sun. 7/23 Seargeant Bluff > Ida Grove Mon. 7/24 Ida Grove > Audubon Tue. 7/25 Audubon > Waukee Wed 7/26 Waukee > Newton Thu 7/27 Newton > Marengo Fri 7/28 Marengo > Coralville Sat 7/29 Coralville > Muscatine
As usual I have too much other stuff to worry about to update the NAD website.
BTW - Most of the the Team NAD internal communication is done through yahoo groups email, but I still like to post and look for posts here occasionally.
Ride on, Ride on.
