I'd also like to add that anyone who puts Marky Mark in the middle of a movie should be beaten with an industrial fan belt until their eyes point in different directions.
That South Korean general who blows that VietCong dude's brains out is a more sympathetic film presence.

As for Fight Club, anyone who doesn't recognize it as one of the ten greatest films in recent memory is too stupid to leave the house all by themselves.

Lay off the cola if you know what I mean. Maslin was/is a crappy critic, Fincher is a technical genius, and you're an overrated hack. Well, okay, HARD EIGHT was pretty good, so maybe you're not a hack, but BOOGIE NIGHTS was strictly Scorsese-lite and MAGNOLIA was overindulgent in all the worst possible ways. I mean, frogs from the sky? Cutesy sing-alongs? Please. I'm sure PUNCH-DRUNK LOVE, your new flick with every frat boy's best friend, Adam Sandler, will be a real winner, though.
