It's not unprecedented. 20 years ago they did a "Women of Braniff" pictorial. Um, so I've heard. I, uh, read about it in The Beauty Myth. Yeah, that's it.

Ha! Just googled -- Braniff, dead for about a decade before Tim Berners-Lee was surfing the web, has a web presence! Braniff International -- dedicated to the men and women who proudly wore the golden wings of Braniff.

Strangely, Playboy is absent from the history there.
