Hello! I'm new to the site. A zine that I love is
www.expositorymagazine.com and we have a new issue out! Yes, I'm basically using this forum as a way to pass on the word that our new issue is online! It's so great though!

Please check it out!

I just reread a bunch of old issues I have of Crimewave USA. Damn that zine is funny. I read an essay about one of the editors who took a tour of the Jiffy bakery with a bunch of girl scouts...and the open letter to Don Knotts is great.

You know, I just realized that portraits of Don Knotts have been in 2 movies:

1) Serial Mom
2) Ghost World

I should stalk him.

yeah craphound had a HUGE influence on me..... I love that it was all found clip art and barely any text... the clown issue is still one of the best!

I know Sean from Craphound, but I loved that zine before I ever met him. I have a thing for clipart books, and Craphound is like the absinthe of clipart books - distilled and fucked up.

Probably the one zine that inspired me to just write about anything is Mystery Date. Lynn Peril has such a fun style of writing about everything from old-school Home Ec books to retro cookbooks.
