5 Ashley 03-31-2002 06:50 AM ET (US)	I remeber speaking to a flight attendant here in Australia and she said that Qantas did a major test on all the stewards and they would not release the results to the staff. They had every flight crew member wear one of thoise tags like in a nuclear Plant. Very worrying for people who work as a flight attentdant.
4 Sad, sad story... 03-29-2002 05:14 PM ET (US)	This isn't recent news. My father has flown for 30 years, and I remember him mentioning it at least 12 years ago. They think this is one of the reasons pilots have shorter life spans than the average U.S. male -- by about 8 years.
