Well this is not the only thing I notice. It seems this guy did not read the documentation that came with the computer in the first place. I am sure the problem with the computer is a burned power circuit, just because he did not read a note that says that you must keep the power button pressed for several seconds before the computer shuts down. Instead he just unplugged it, removed the battery that is not something computers are designed for. The problem of the computer freezing well, maybe it's Compaq fault, or maybe it's Microsoft's (maybe both), that is something quite difficult to know. I must say I agree with what this guy says about Compaq's service. They really suck! I had a problem with a notebook little time ago, and well they claimed there was no problem with the computer, but still the screen turns white every now and then. I've also heard a lot of complains about Compaq's service from friends who could not resist a Compaq bargain and their computers where faulty. I have to say that none of them are using Compaq computers anymore. I wonder if HP will be able to improve Compaq's reputation........... maybe it will just fall with them...... I hope not.
