Um . . . so . . . I guess they're only selling this stuff to people who don't have any T-shirts, tote-bags, and coffee mugs, right? Because buying this stuff and having it shipped just to have another item like one you already have because the new one has a cute slogan . . .

. . . ah, well. Never mind. Fight the machine. Rah, rah.

It's funny because it's self-contradictory, at least in part.

Don't you understand, Stefan? It's not consumption if it's, like, hip and ironic.

Anyone who thinks this joke is anti-american certainly won't buy any of these products. Anyone who doesn't get the joke has no reason to buy any of these products. And anyone who does get the joke still probably won't buy anything, lest they themselves perpetuate more blind consumption.

It's perfect. An online store with a target market of... nobody.

Then again, I'd love to see the looks I'd get taking that tote bag into my local yuppie grocery store and blithely filling it with $30 brie and bottle after bottle of merlot. Very funny.

Anyone who gets the joke will surely just right-click/save the graphics and create their own "products" with them. Win!

There ya go otoro!

If the graphics were big enough, one could print them out and stick 'em in store windows when no one was looking.

If your cable isn't digital, it really isn't cable. Please just shut up and buy the bag. I mean, it's cotton. It's not like it's hemp or made by children.

Its supposed to speed economic recovery, not stop terrorism.
