And here, I thought it was really cool. Especially the cut-up poetry. But then, I do cut-ups, too.

And as for the question of "why is this art"? Oooh, that's a particular pet peeve of mine. It's art because someone says it's art. Simple as that.

Art doesn't inherently equal "good" or "beautiful" or "something that someone highly talented or trained could do" or "something that would go in a museum or gallery". There is bad art. There is ugly art. There is art that shocks us. There is art that reassures us. There is art that does nothing for us at all. There is art created by regular, everyday people. ("The artist is not a special sort of person, but every person is a special sort of artist."--A. K. Coomaraswamy) There is art created by a group of people, either though specific design or through "random" methods. But it's still art. "I didn't like that" doesn't make it not-art.

Why is this art? It seems random and not particularly interesting or attractive. Growling grotesque images are not always beautiful. A computer could have come up with this. Coming from me, that's not a compliment.
