Rose McDowell was supposed to perform last year in Hollywood, however she took ill.
The last thing I knew about her previously, was that she had a stint with the name CANDY CANE...
I do know some folks who might now though.
I recently saw NON and DEATH IN JUNE and was unimpressed to say the least, but Rose had lent vocals for some work with that camp as well as Coil etc.
A while back I attempted to find more info regarding her current career but I was foiled.
I will certainly ask around since I had wondered this a few years back around the mid-90s when I was listening to a band from San Francisco called Switchblade Symphony, who reminded me of the duo girl band Strawberry Switchblade.

Yeah Fuzzbox during the "Love is the Slug" stage is a lot better than the later -- "we look like Prince video extras" stage.
Hmmm...I wonder whatever happened to Strawberry Switchblade?

Okay, a wave of nostalgia just caught me by surprise & got in my nose. *cough cough* Wow, We've Got a Fuzzbox. "Bostin' Steve Austin". Wow. It's been a long time...
As recent as 1995, one of my good friends dressed up as Siouxsie Sioux for Hallowe'en, & damn, she looked just like her. About a month ago, I dressed up as Robert Smith for a costume party (the theme was "fertility party", & I figured Bob has been a fertility symbol for loads of 15 year old girls)--I didn't look exactly like him, but I think I carried it off pretty well. We have a similar build, so...

yo spike!
In total agreement- Fuzzbox (actually We've Got a Fuzzbox and We're Gonna Use It, tragically shortened by record execs to just "Fuzzbox") ruled. Maybe rules still?
Fuzzbox radio! Wow! Don't worry BonnieGrrl..I'll still be your number one grrl radio listener..but it's nice to know that fuzzbox radio is out there for when your stream is down.
BTW you all forgot about Danielle Dax. I wouldn't mind having "Id Parade" on grrl radio..if you're taking requests..

:) cute I just saw Siouxie And The Banshees perform last weekend at the Coachella festival. Those pics remind me of back in da daze of the 8Deez. I actually just started an online cartoon series based on my experiences in the 80s 90s and mixed with the relics that today call the old alternative / underground scene "GOTHIC". It is called www.sillygoth.comI hope you enjoy! wanna help? got any ideas?

wowsers. those are ... interesting pix... i'm glad to say that i dont have evidence online of how dorky i looked in those days. although my punkism went so far as to rebel from the notion that you had to dress different to be punk. all the punkers were doing that, so to me it was just another clique to avoid. but i still listened to all the same music etc... and was friends with a bunch of them, until i finally befriended their ice queen. and then we became bestest friends and inseperable. and dang. its just cool to see Fuzzbox in someone's blog... -spike

I'm starting to wish I had taken more photos of myself in my '80s punk/Goth splendor.
