Have you used the monorails for the Vegas casinos that currently have them? It seems like they make you spend more time walking through the casino to get to the monorail than you actually would save if you just walked between the casinos in the first place.

What they need is to turn the entire strip into a people mover straight outta Heinlein...

I would guess that almost anything becomes less appealing with vomiting drunks inside.

Circus Circus and Stratosphere are just close enough to the LVCC that you could walk. Also, they're kind of, well, low-rent places.

The fare box should pay out every once in a while.

The map on the Washington Post article shows it going over to the LVH. How it does that without missing some of the far nortern properties like Stratosphere or Circus Circus. During major conventions that are at LVH instead of/in addition to Sands, this thing will be packed.

Not sure if it actually reaches McCarran's terminals, which would piss off hotel and shuttle-bus drivers.

If this goes by the LV convention center then life would be perfect.

and will you be able to gamble while riding the monorail?
