Liked Moore's line about corporations sucking the government tit while complaining about welfare. Still don't want him near my paycheck.

Yes, I had to clip that line out for my quotes file, because it's so true. United Airlines is more for socialism than any socialist you can name.

The surprising thing about this transcript is how famously they got along. I don't know how it played live but I don't think Moore made O'Reilly look like an idiot --far from it. I was more impressed with how much they have in common especially in regards to corporate wrongdoing. O'Reilly and Moore, brothers in arms?

It looks like O'Reilly made Moore look really assinine. Moore objects to a big corporation? That's not even news. He hates capitalism in every way shape and form.

Bill O'Reilly invites people onto his show so he can lecture at them, plain and simple. He did the same thing to Ralph Nader a couple of weeks ago. Moore really wants to talk about how completely hypocritical corps are, but the topic for O'Reilly's interview is "Michael Moore - Pinko or Commie?" I love the assumption that capitalism is the best thing there is, irrespective of how many people in your own country are starving. If so many people are poor and screwed over then what's so great about it, Bill? And why should those poor and screwed-over people support a system that hasn't done shit for them? He's such a jerk. I keep hoping that he'll invite a guest on who will just ream him a new one. Side note: apparently Tera Patrick things O'Reilly is GOD and wants to get him alone in the "No Spin Zone." Gahh.

Tera Patrick on Bill O'Reilly --that could be great to watch, if only in the watching-a-train-wreck-happen sort of way.

O'Reilly is nuts when he says Canadians have to wait two years for an operation. Canadians live longer than Americans, have a lower infant mortality rate, and the average amount of what a Canadian pays the government for health care is less than what the average American pays in health insurance.

"Canadians have to wait two years for an operation"
what a load of crap , sounds like typical American HMO propaganda.

Tera Patrick never struck me as conservative.

I think that Moore has a very real view of what corperate America is up to. I noticed that O'Reilly chose to enforce that we have a "republic" not a "democratic republic". Until/unless/unlikely we have real campain finance reform we (the people) won't have a "democratic republic" we'll have corperatocracy. That is Moores point (in his TV show, and his previous books, I haven't read the current one).

"I hope we shall crush in its birth the aristocracy of our moneyed corporations, which dare already to challenge our government to a trial of strength and bid defiance to the laws of our country."

There is one person Bill O'reilly cannot bully with his "spin" vocal inflections, divisive anti-American language, and faulty stats, Eminem. I'm serious. Marshall Mathers, love him or hate him, has more clout, more trustworthiness, and is one of the two guys whose schtick Bill stole. (the other is Howard Stern's annoying personality)

Why does Michael Moore live in a 1.9 million dollar house if he hates capitalism so much?

Michael Moore is so far off the charts relative to what average Americans believe his opinions are not even worth discussing.

As for Canada, the really smart people there, know what it is that America provides for them. After that loose-lipped woman called Bush a moron, their leadership fell to their knees begging for forgiveness.

Canada's war machine is almost non-existant these days. America means much, much more to Canada than visa-versa.

The O'Reilly v. Moore transcript I read yesterday showed O'Reilly making Moore look like the misinformed fool that he is. O'Reilly even got Moore to endorse Bush's preemptive strike doctrine that was used in the Iraq war. As for Farenheit 9/11 the jury is already in on its influence on the election - ZERO . 95% of the people who intend to see that movie have already seen it and the polls have not budged- it's still a dead heat
