In Feb. 2003 the Four Tops performed with the Temptations in Ohio, and while he was still sick, I got a chance to hear Levi sing a little. He is going to be missed, and his voice will live forever.

I'm thinking the next time I post on here we'll have a new President. It has been some ride hasn't it?

Does anyone have a favorite movie? Mine is now "Born Yesterday" with (((Judy Holiday))). She had a rich boyfriend who wanted her to be smarter, so he hired this man to teach her "culture". The man got her into reading and getting an understanding of things, and seeing them visit the U.S. Capitol makes me now what to visit it. I Love history. I'm listening to the audiobook about ((((Benejamin Franklin)))! At the end she was able to stand up to her controlling boyfriend and leave him, and at the end she ended up marrying the guy who was teaching her "culture". I Love this movie!! LOL!! Has anyone else seen it?

Yes, the Fighting Phillies has won a championship after 28 years! The last parade I went to was when the Sixers won the championship back in 1983. My sons were 2 and 11 and now they are 30 and 39. This time we took the grandkids both 11 and 12. They were so excited!

So we had a fun full day. The best Halloween outfit I saw was a guy dressed like a Tampa Bay devil ray baseball player with a bat through his head dripping in blood. I guess you all know the Phillies beat the devil rays!!!! After the parade the people just partied all through the streets of downtown Philly and South Philly. It was reported that there were about 2 million people all along the parade route and both Citizen and Lincoln stadiums. No go EAGLES, SIXERS, FLYERS, KIXX. OOOPs, the Soul Football team did win their championship, but was there a parade????? If so it was kept quiet.

Congratulations Carol. Doing it up in Philly. Now all we need is that BIG WIN for Barack Obama.

Reasons to Vote for Obama:

What he lacks in experience he makes up in leadership. He has mobilized and organized campaign supporters and volunteers in unprecedented numbers. He has strategically continued to actively campaign despite being heavily ahead in the polls and in areas that were considered extreme red areas. He has not gotten cocky and shows that he will continue to give his all until the desired results are achieved.

Experience: many of his opponents and their supporters have cited his lack of experience as a handicap to his presidential qualifications. People need to be reminded that before our current president was president, he was a governor for almost 2 full terms and yet his EXPERIENCE did little in helping him run the country.

Are you happy with the current state of our country? If not, a vote for McCain carries too great a risk that Bushonomics will continue. As everyone knows McCain has agreed with Bush policies over 95% of the time, something that McCain himself has readily admitted too. Whether his motives were to set down a failed foundation for his presidential candidacy which means he sacrificed the American people for his own ambitions or he exercised "POOR JUDGEMENT," as seems to be the case with: his involvement with the Keating 5, his 2000 presidential campaign and how he ran out of money, and most recently his alignment with Bush politics. With the current state of our country can we AFFORD to elect someone who has a history of exercising POOR JUDGEMENT?

Obama is a Terrorist??? If he is a terrorist as so many McCain supporters assert, then he must be a genius to elude the scrutiny of the FBI, CIA, Interpol, Homeland Security and other terrorist watch groups because to-date non of these agencies have released reports, stated that Obama is a person of interest or suggested that Obama has terrorist ties. I ask where is the logic?

I am reaching out to the undecided because I see that this decision weighs heavily on your mind and that you are approaching this election with logic. I as an independent voter can attest that I made my decision not based on partisanship, race (in both directions blacks who are voting for Obama because he is black and whites who REFUSE to vote for Obama because he is black), or because this election is historical (which is undoubtedly is) but because I am unhappy with the direction that this country has moved these last 8 years. I am ready for our country to prosper again and I not only do I believe that Obama is the better candidate between the two but I also truly believe that he can inspire change and perpetuate tolerance and hope.

Oh ya'll I was trying to read ((((Obamamama)))'s post, but right now I'm listening to V103, and they have their mix on where they play parts of Obama's speech. I just got so Excited that I had to go on and post! (((Obama))) did mention that he listens to V103! I tell y'all I don't know what to say. When I went to vote Tuesday, I was screaming in the car from the Excitement of it all. Before I went I was watching the news and seeing the preparation for the Grant Park rally and all the media from all over the world being here. It's just so unbelieveable! After I voted, one of the judges said that I was making history, and I crossed my fingers, because I knew even in all the Excitement, it could go either way. Since I had to get up so early, I had went to sleep about 8:00 p.m., but I woke up about 10:00 p.m., and caught (((McCain)))'s speech, and waited until Obama came on, and oh I tell y'all it's hard to put in words. I can't tell you how much I've cried. This is such a no words to describe this time in history. So many people have died for this time. It's just so unbelievable. I'm so into history, and for some reason, I've always been into the Presidents. I have the History channel's 3dvd set, and I know when ((((Obama)))'s presidency is over, he's going to be added, and I'm going to buy it again just for his section. In the program, they have this part where they describe each President, and it's going to be interesting what they are going to say about ((((Obama))). I know two words will be Charming and Chasmatic (sp). I had received an invitation to join the History channel's club, and they sent me a book mark with all the President's pictures, and I looked at that bookmark, and thought how (((Obmama)))'s picture will be added to it. Right now I feel as though I'll never get over this. Now we can go forward, and I pray that the people that (((Obama))) has working on his team will really support him. From the news that's being reported he's making Great choices. I hope I can get a copy of the Newsweek magazine that has (((Obama))) on the cover. Really I do think of Obama as our Movie Star President, because he has been on so many covers of magazines. I actually want to listen to the audiobook of his books now. It was reported in the newspaper that sales of his books when up after Tuesday. I was talking to my (((ex-husband))) today, and he said yesterday was the first time he couldn't find Sunday's papers, they were all sold out, because of the (((Obama))) section that was going to be in it. He tried three different places. I was at Borders yesterday, and they had sold out of the Newsweek magazine. I can go on and on. I'm just so Happy. Some of my co-workers went to the Grant Park rally, and oh I want a tee shirt with the presidential seal. I have a Great picture of the Obama family that one of my friends sent me via e-mail and the presidential seal is in the background. I subscribe to "Essence Magazine", and that picture was on one of the covers without the seal. I also subscribe to "More" a magazine for women over 40, and (((Michelle Obama))) was on one of the covers!! What a time!! I'm so Happy! LOL!! GO OBAMA!!
