That was the point I was trying to make in my clarification downthread. D'oh. Failed again in the clarity sweepstakes.

It would be foolishness to expect that every post that every blogger blogs (unless they blog infrequently indeed)(how many blogs could a blogger blog...oh never mind) to be pure gold, comedy or otherwise - it's the accreted layers of text-represented personality that come from a series of posts over time, some funny, some wise, some dumb as dirt (well, that'd be me, anyway) that interest me, and give me a mental picture of the person behind the voice.

Or : It's the forest, not the trees.
