Pretty straightforward: Get a fast Internet connection (i.e. cablemodem or DSL) and an 802.11b base-station (i.e., an Apple Airport or a Linksys or a 3COM or one of the many others on the market, they're all pretty cool). Plug the base-station into your modem, and configure it not to use any of the "security" features (i.e., hidden SSID, WEP passwords, MAC address controls -- by default, all of these should be off anyway) and you're done!
