Hey Jake, You're a dope.
You are beyond reason if you actually believe that tax supported education is a bad thing. Find a time machine and head for the plantation era.
An educated population will always be superior to an uneducated population. And market forces preclude our ability to have *all* privately supported schools.
Read a book and drop the blather, you boob.

Where did this idea come from that everybody deserves free education, free medical care, free whatever? It comes from Moscow, from Russia. It comes straight out of the pit of hell. And its cleverly disguised as having a tender heart. Its not a tender heart. Its ripping the heart out of this country.

why are people so nuts about not raising taxes?
we are in a recession - cancelling police, fire, teachers, elderly care, medical benefits.... etc. seems like a good idea to cut costs in theory, but is not good in the long term.
all of these layed off employees are still going to be getting money from the state one way or the other. so the state (meaning us, the tax payers) will be paying them without getting anything in return. and they won't have extra money to put into the economy without jobs. plus the charges involved in firing these people, canceling the programs and organizations, putting them all on unemployment or giving them their severance pay.... all adds up. in a few years the economy will recover, the programs will return, and we will have to pay to train more people for all of these jobs all over again.
i will give romney the benefit of the doubt when he cuts "unnecessary" programs, but come on, not EVERYTHING should be cut just to prove you can stick to the campaign slogan "no new taxes".. and us voters shouldn't expect a politician to live up to a quote like that. let's try to remember this is a ridiculous promise to make, and it's nearly impossible to keep.
"no new taxes" sounds more like a used car salesman pitch than a political strategy.

GOVERNOR ROMNEY NEITHER READS NOR RESPONDS TO ANYTHING POSTED ON THIS SITE.
If the governor's office does not read this site, how did they know it exists? The fact is, this disclaimer was needed because public opinion of Romney is so low that they couldn't possibly respond to all of the negative comments here or anywhere else. They are just ignoring the public because the election is over - like every good Republican.

Lame answer re Cape Ben. I checked in tonight just to finally get the scoop. If you've got the details tell us. If he sleeps with the fishes, what's the worry? You have no problem slamming Romney and Fehrnstrom, but you're afraid to take on Cape Ben? Not even a first name? Disappointing...

John P - Cape Ben sleeps with the fishes. That's all I can say. Let's hope the fishes keep him where he belongs.
Hey, Webmaster - are you posting that redundant message yourself, or have you programmed it to run every so often?
- Most sane people realize that Romney is too busy keeping Fehrnstrom's libido under control to have time to read this board.
- If someone actually believes that they can get the Governor through this thing, isn't it an act of kindness to let them retain their delusionary pretense?
- Matt Sisk is the future of the Republican Party? The best way to make Romney look bad is to show him trying to make Matt Sisk look good!

Whoa. Cape Ben. Now that's a blast from the past. What a jerk. Who was he? At least give us a first name? (C'mon it's an anonymous board.) He was fired? How do you know? Do tell...

How do we know that Gov. Romney does not read or post to this board? Do we know all that Romney reads and posts? If so, we must be hitting someone pretty close to Romney. If so, a post to the board is hitting Romney's inner circle, if not Romney himself.
Wow. I feel so ... unclean.
In the final analysis, however, it doesn't really matter. All that matters is that Eric Fehrnstrom, Romney's oily and repugnant $150,000 a year press groupy, DOES read this board, and hates it.
In fact, Eric the $150K wants the board taken down. And has tried on several occasions to do so. But he has been spectacularly unsuccessful. As was that creep Cape Ben, who tried to kill the board last year, and ended up losing his job on the campaign in the process.
Lesson - the board is powerful. Don't mess with the board.
The big question is, will the board survive longer than Fehrnstrom?
Saavy insiders are putting their money on ... the board.

WEBMASTER - your daily post that this board is not affiliated with the governor is almost as annoying as he is. Oh, that was just too easy...
