There is no reason in the world why we can't remember the days when we could do something and not have to worry about the one SOB that didn't like it and probably just to line the pockets of HIS coat. If you find yourself not in the norm maybe you should think about what your thinking is, because it probably isn't nice. In other words futureman burn your grandmas photos, shes old and dusty too, and just maybe your exsistance will go with them. God bless our historical past, it trained me well.

the musee mekooky, is a rusty old junkyard. Why not just move the whole musee to Oakland or East Palo Alto, i'm sure some junkdealer there would make a home for it.

I'm not sure why anyone bothers responding to this troll. Ignore trolls and they go away. Respond to them and they get their little zetz of brain-reward for having been a crab-louse in yet another's netizen's pubic hair.

Hear, hear, Cory. Y'all listen to this nice man; he knows his shit, shares his bandwidth and has met the wife of Lemony Snicket.
Good news this morning from KFOG: "Thanks to the dozens of Fogheads who participated in the morning show field trip to Musee Mechanique in San Francisco last Friday. The news is good. Musee owner Ed Zellinsky, Rich Weideman with the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, and San Francisco Supervisor Jake McGoldrick all showed up Friday. They told us that a deal is close under which the Musee will be given a temporary home until it's final location is ready to go. Zellinsky says its just a matter now of finding a location with plenty of foot traffic. Stay tuned.
Even though this is a step in the right direction, the fight is NOT over. We're still in need of signatures for our petition."
Now we can just start hoping the Musee ends up in a bigger location in the end - I can't wait to see what the Zelinsky's have hidden away in storage; the current display is just a portion of their great collection.

I assume that most of you have seen the article in today's (3/26) Chronicle about the "saving" of the Musee Mecanique. I, for one, am skeptical that the GGNRA will do the right thing. They are the ones that valued the Musee so little that they omitted it from the Cliff House post-renovation plans. And the long-term "solution" in the Visitors Center, as I understand it, provides substantially less space than the Musee has at present (so much for getting to check out the rest of the Zelinsky collection). So, I think the public campaign needs to continue!
