Squid and chips, anyone?

If Serraphin's right and the squid are mobilising, then I think these handsome fellows will be the ninja strike teams...

It hit me with a tentacular strike that felt like being hit with a baseball bat square in the ribs. Shocked by the power of the strike and unable to breathe because of a cramp in my chest, I turned to see what had hit me and saw four more squid headed toward me. The first came in so fast that I could barely track it with the camera, and then Bam! It struck the camera, which in turn struck me in the face. I was starting to feel like I was in a barroom brawl."

Strangely enough I saw a part of another doc' about the man eating squid. They are nasty little individuals - their individual 'suckers' along their tentacles actually have half inch teeth in them.

They showed a local fisherman who had accidentally pulled one up his net - it went for him, and the scars on his arm look like someone took a pop at him with a shotgun!

Perhaps the squid are departmentalising(sp) and this is the military branch!!!

I was watching a BBC doco last night on Leonardo Da Vinci in which they built his famous diving suit and snorkel apparatus and tested it in Venice. The woman diver who tested it was described as someone who frequently dives with "man-eating squid"! I've never heard of people being eaten by giant squid (can't see the normal ones being up to the job somehow). Must eat more calamari before it eats me.

Yea or how some fool predicted America would start getting hit by cyclone weather system after weather system..hhaha..

Oh wait.

I find it completely unbelievable that a governmental power can actually look at obvious physical evidence of 'bad things happening' and refuse to do the one thing that might, just slightly, alleviate this situation. I'm not some raving green, but Jesus H...!

On the other hand - mebbe our multilimbed compatriots are now getting the ecological boost they need to finally reveal their true intentions to us! For too long they have lived under the oppresive yolk of their Tuna based master and...{Yadda yadda, another drink..blah blah..very drunk}

Does anyone else recall how, thirty years ago, they were expecting another Ice Age?

I don't think I'd be keen on London, the way the climate is going. It might be a Mediterranean climate, but that's what Venice has.

I was thinking of moving to London next year. Though with this, I'm contemplating other destinations.

Btw, is Inverness still one of Europe's fastest growing cities? I wonder whether it will become a mecca for climate refugees from Britain.

Speaking from London, it is about as nasty as you could possibly imagine. Thick pollution, air like a stove, and the sun like a blowtorch.

Yesterday we had clouds for a few minutes and a bit of a breeze. Gone now.

I want to move to Alaska, or Antarctica, or Mars.
