Report of AGU in San Francisco 2001: I presented a poster about current situation of MOD16. You can see the poster here. About 20 people came to listen to the presentation. Their responses were fairly favorable, although some people (e.g., B. Law) pointed out the VPD and soil moisture are still problematic. In order to explicitly incorporate VPD in the algorithm, we may have to consider about using MODIS atmospheric product (MODIS Precipitable Water product (MOD05_L2); MODIS Atmospheric Profiles product (MOD07_L2) ) as well as atmospheric profile product of AIRS/AMSU/HSB on board Aqua satellite. |
