Would like to know the process. Customer puts mail on hold for 30 days, they are on vacation. On 2nd day of vacation they receive a certified letter. Our PM states that we are to scan attemted and leave the 3949 in the vacation hold slot and return the certified letter to the accountable station. After two notices and 15 days the certified is returned unclaimed. My customers very upset that letter was returned. Could someone enlighten me on the correct procedure. Thanks
