/m45895 I don't know why national does not file a class action grievance on this. Curtail to pivot violates Article 41.1.C.4 - our right to 8 hours on our route as posted.

/m45902 We just won on this very issue of curtailing to create artificial undertime to make regulars pivot on vacant routes.

etour /m45892 I found out that once CORS is implemented nationwide this fall, CORS won't care how much seniority you have. They just want to make the routes as square as possible. So, if that means a high seniority carrier, who has a mounted route, then gets COR'ed, they could end up losing parts of their mounted, and get park and loops.

Kenworth /m45895 Our NBA told our President the same thing. They said that they're losing too many of them. I guess it depends on what region of the country that you're from. When they tell us to curtail and pivot, we just make sure that they're taking the 1571 and entering that into the computer, so the carrier is getting the proper credit.

p.o.s /m45893 It's a disgraced to our solidarity that we have fellow brothers and sisters that like to sniff the Stupidvisor's As*#@ for brownie points. At this moment in time the only thing you can do is wait for a PDI from the Stupidvisor, this is where your shop steward gets involved. Whatever the issue is have a good defense for it, if it didn't happen state that fact to, remember it is up to management to show burden of proof. For whatever reason this Union Sister wants to get you in trouble, you must direct the problem (conflict between her and you) to the attention of your immediate stupidvisor to be resolved first before you file an E.E.O. If there is no resolved of the issue but the problem continues, then file the E.E.O. and a Workplace Harassment grievance against the stupidvisor (the reason, "failing to maintain an atmosphere between employer and employee which assures mutual respect for each other rights and responsibilites"). While you can not file an E.E.O against another carrier, you can bring charges against her through your local Union Branch, they should select a committee to investigate the charges submitted to the Union Branch. But this takes place only if she is a Union Member. Research this information and I wish you the best. GOOD LUCK.

zeus the llv price is somewhere around $20000 and i meant parcels not relays i would have to deliver the parcels the park and loop guy who delivers my parcels and relays which is part of his street time is doing it may not be 30 minutes but it is very close. You don't put rubber bands around your letters when you take them out of the dps you must not get alot of letters or you got very big hands. You are right they are adding to our street time because they are only giving us 33 minutes fixed office time the same as the park and loop routes are getting and the union is fighting to add at least 10 to 15 minutes more to my fixed office time

/m45906The only mounted route on my string is almost totally changing due to CORS. She had ~3.5 hours of mounted and 2 hours of retirement apartments before. Now she will have one block mounted and ALL walking. TOTAL BULLSHIT! That was my favorite route and now is has some of the worst walking loops in the station. I wonder if it would have been different if the adjustment that was made last fall didn't split her route across town (7+ minute drive from one area to the next after lunch). At least she would have had a larger chunk in one area that CORS may have been able to work with! I hope this is grievable because they have eliminated 99% of her route!

Kenworth /m45895 I just came back from our Union Hall. I read a bunch of grievances which won by a station in Connecticut. Their B Team ruled that Service violated Article 41.1.c.4. Arbitrator Lalka stated in his summary "The Postal Service ordered carriers to curtail third class mail on their duty assignments, and pivot onto vacant routes. The vacancies were not unanticipated. The grievance is sustained. The Postal Service shall cease and desist the practice, and all affected carriers shall receive one hour of pay at the overtime rate for each day they were forced off their duty assignments." I had put one in before, ours ruled in favor for the Service.

/m45911 We had CORs here about 18 months ago and it was a disaster. Nonsensical lines of travel, park points on streets with no parking, etc etc. Had one apartment complex, seven large buildings, CORs gave the carrier zero office time for one of the buildings. No way there will be a day where all 40 apartments in that building get no mail. Ridiculous.

/m45914 They are trying to make this latest MIARIP look like a USPS-NALC tag team. The bottom line is it takes what it takes by the regular carrier.

FedUp /m45906thanks for the heads up. our adjustments in february "squared up" most routes already. a few junior carriers got mounted deliveries and a few senior carriers gained some park & loop.
