I like them, but I think they'd look nicer if they were in black and bolded instead of that faint grey.

I agree with making the title the link. Since that will turn it blue with an underscore, it will also help it to stand out more than the current light grey.

Titles are good but use text that is different than the first line of the blog entry.

1. I don't think that Blogger Pro will let us use the titles as links; nor am I sure I want that. I really like having the context first and the link second, not the other way 'round.

2. Yeah, having the first line the same as the title is really weird. It's only because we've been trying to be conscious of the RSS feed, which grabs the first couple words to use as a headline; so before I switched headlines on, we were replicating them. That'll stop now.

3. Grey titles does look weird, don't they? Black looked weird, too, IMO. Maybe black+bold+smallcaps? Mark? You've got the visual sense -- what do you say?

I like the titles, too, but you should consider red ones. Gray doesn't stand out enough.

Don't like 'em. Blurbs are small and descrriptive enough that you don't need titles. Titles are just more stuff to read...You can't tell if you want to click the link just from the 20-character title anyway.
Even if you keep the titles, the grey has to go.

Well, I've switched 'em back to black, for now.

I prefer the black to the gray.

You might also consider using a different font (preferrably sans serif) for the headlines.

Titles are good.
