Stephen

A good paper. I have read your various writings, and I have noticed that your e-democracy advocacy appears to accept as a given the institutionalised models of representative democracy evident in the "West". Surley adding the e-engine to the existing institional and power frameworks will only ensure a continuance of what is the status quo - yes even in 2050.

One aspect you have mentioned from time to time is the abilility of the Internet medium to localise and network information and knowledge exchange. Perhaps the e-democracy evolutionary process will see a decentralisation of representative democracy, and yes even a trend towards that thing we learnt about from the writtings of the 1960's - participative democracy.

Keep up the great work!

Regards

Michael
