harvey,

You can apply for positions open to the craft. The 204b does not qualify you for positions that are for EAS only. This is only for EAS permanent employees.

I did not wish to cause so much confusion. What I wanted to know was CAN a 204b apply for EAS positions?

Anne lets go back and look at the question again;
What are the qualifications for applying to EAS positions on e-career?
If this person knows about e-career then don't you think they have computer access? With this computer access are not the qualifications attached to the postings?

Would 204b qualify?
again with computer access are not the qualifications attached to the postings?

most likely the question was a troll just making trouble.

No one wants to give any information. They learn a little something or maybe get a break and think they know it all. Just remember, you will never get promoted if you don't teach anyone to do your job.

In my area, the supervisor and the PM can't call somebody in, on their day-off, until they get the MPOO's approval. And it's the MPOO who's telling our managers to call PTFs from other offices to borrow them. I can't wait until I go back to work Thursday and request steward time, and ask to do a phone interview with this MPOO. And ask her if she's aware that there are already cease and desist and Step B decisions on borrowing PTFs, just to avoid paying overtime. And tomorrow, I call the Department of Labor. So that way, an investigation into management's sheer ignorance of the contract and cease and desist orders can start. Enough is enough.

PM18 - In the Arkansas District we have been told that we can not use a PTF more than 20 - 25 hours per week unless preapproved by MPOO. We can not use full day of overtime (FDOT) without preapproval.

Not a problem here. I work all hours and as many as I want to work(actually more!).
