Skippy, I haven't heard the "compliance" word in more than 3 months, I don't MISS it!

I am wondering how and if my PM, who did not help me during my OIC, would be disciplined? I'm not seeing her in her office? How DO you discipline a PM, and is it possible?

Oh yeah, and failure to do so will cause your office to be in NON COMPLIANCE.

Then the entire district will have to fill out a log and have it faxed, signed and round dated to the district office everyday to ensure that OPFs are properly accounted for (even if they are all now electronic and most offices do not have any OPFs anymore).

/m2307 A Postmaster losing two OPF's is probably the equivalent of a carrier misdelivering two pieces of mail. Two really important pieces of mail.

Frank- I think your situation is going to repeat itself in a number of places. In our area (New England) junior supervisors are being recalled to their stations from details. The vacant positions will be filled by supervisors RIFed from their current offices. Going to be a grand shuffling of personnel.

Just wondering ... how can a PM loose TWO OPFs and not be fired or disciplined? OPFs were kept in an unlocked file cabinet in an unlocked closet. This, of course, happened before all OPFs were computerized.

/m2298 - I'm about 45 miles from our district office.

/m2299 - We have one rural route

/m2300 - I found out what the pay range was for an OIC because my rural carrier bought a new vehicle and wanted me to print her off proof of her salary to finance it. I found the max and min pay scales on that site.
