Melissa, go log on into liteblue and put in an eReassign. If you have the time, it may not do any good now since there is a freeze, but who knows what will happen in the future, at least get your name on the list and request a reassignment to CO. I'm not 100% sure, but I think they will eReassign based on first come first serve, so get you name on the list.

I am trying to transfer from PA to CO, i found a post office that is looking for help and the postmaster was willing to take me, HR has other ideas, says that with all the jobs being cut, their district is not bringing anyone in from other districts, i think this is totally unfair. what can I do to make this happen? I am PA alone, no family, all family is in midwest, and this would be a wonderful move for me and my family. any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

postalvet /m4576 - Thanks. Yes, I posted a link to this APWU file on PEN's newsfront Oct. 7. I cannot help but feel that we (PEN) had something to do with APWU jumping on this. I broke the story (that APWU read) on Sept. 26, 2009. Here's our coverage: http://www.postalemployeenetwork.com/PEN-DRT-CASE.pdfTHANKS! Rick - PEN

To All
Whether you, or one of your postal friends, is worried about being excessed or not you really need to read the article that I posted this morning - 9/26/09.
Please follow the link below and read "Excessed Clerk Fired For Failing the 805 Driver Training Test"
http://www.postalemployeenetwork.com/
This is a rather large (1.87mb) PDF file that will open in a new window. If you cannot access it now due to heavy internet traffic please try later.

The PM demanded the window clerks in our office tuck their Polo shirts in. Now with all the reeaching, lifting, and bending, etc. they always come un-tucked on the sides, back, etc. In my opinion this makes them look sloppy, not porfessional. Polos were designed to be worn on the outside with the side slits. Leave it to management and the Mystery Shop to screw that up!!!

Polo shirts are to be worn "tucked in" unless local management agrees differently. ELM 933.21

/m4565 who told you "your anniversary date about 3 and a half months after you were hired". look at your form 50. the date printed is your hire date and your anniversary date.
