Spent if you were a Casual they have taken you off the roles and you are done. they just did not tell you since you were offered a chance to resign. I had a casual who came in to work one day and I fired her and sent her home. She was carrying too much cash in her drawer. I let her go that day. I suspected her of borrowing from the drawer and terminated her. No letter just gone.

I never tried to hold myself up to any standard except my own. That has worked out ok for me so far. In the end, I only answer to myself, family and God.

One thing I have learned with all this time off, and the studies I have done, there is no consistency in the Postal Service. I always had to take the break in service and so did the Temporary Rural Carrier....isn't that odd?

When I became and OIC from PMR. I was told I would get entry level PM pay by the PM who transferred the office, he had 30 yrs in!....this did not happen, I was not even offered a raise and had to ASK POOM for one! I was doing PM job for $10.00/hr no benefits etc etc, no PMR to cover for me! I worked almost one full year straight!

During my second OIC, again, no raise, so asked new POOM for the raise I received during first OIC. He gave it to me kindly, he just 'didn't know'. ELM states leave replacements for PMs are supposed to get entry level PM pay (NAPUS told me this too)...my POOM wasn't sure and gave me another % raise. Then the district caught it and I had to pay it back!

No consistency, none.....and the ELM can be interpretted to the Postal Services liking NAPUS told me.

PM 16......I just received a new form 50 two weeks ago with my hourly rate etc, no termination?

Was that emp a PMR?

Does my Union know anything????? I had a chance to resign, and should've???? OMG! I'm so confused :(

Do you think because I was put in off duty pay status with $ discrepencies it has to be handled differently? HELP?

TRCs have to have a break. PMRs none.

The pay raise was nothing the poom did. That came from shared services. the poom might have spurred on shared services by cutting a higher level 1723, but the form 50 and the raise came from shared services---not the poom. Pooms do very very little as far as pay rates go.

As far as the form 50 you got this week goes, that also came from shared services. I doubt your poom or anyone in your district has any idea you got one or anyone else for that matter.
