Contratulations to the Lancashire Ladies, who managed a very creditable fourth place in the Adult County Finals in Nottingham this weekend. The conditions were what you might call challenging, but we did extremely well.
Well done ladies. I'm proud of you all.

hi all you great bowlers, i'm in need of your help WE NEED another bowler to bowl every other week, we bowl on wednesday at blackburn its a scratch and handicap league, it's £10 per player each week and lasts for aprox 32weeks. The new season starts next week so will need to start bowling the week after next (9th November)

FOR THE ATTENTION OF ALL LANCASHIRE ADULTS TAKING PART IN THE FIRST ROUND OF THE ADULT COUNTIES ON 4TH SEPTEMBER AT WASHINGTON.
As the sanction forms for the leagues have only just arrived I rang the B.T.B.A. today. I was told that your 2011 B.T.B.A. card will be accepted at the above tournament. Any other tournament following this one everyone will need their 2012 card.

The team for the Senior County rounds at Nuneaton on the 4th June is Mo Singleton Mike Haliwell Paul Newton Jack Nesbitt Dave Rigg Steve Ball Bob Heaton. Thanks to the other bowlers who took part in the trials. This is not the team for the final if we make it there can be changes.

Also well done to the rest of the junior boys and girls who bowled well but just missed out on medals.
A good start to the year - Firstly the YAC BOYS and now the U14 GIRLS.

Excellent result for the boys finishing 3rd! won 5 out of the 7 games in the round robin....only getting beat by the two teams that finished above us.

To all members and in reply to message 026 whoever you are (Why the coded secracy? I do prefer to know who is asking the question) The next Lancashire meeting which is the yearly AGM is to be held at Preston Lakeside bowl at 7pm on Friday 21st January 2011. All members welcome. This is the meeting where the members of the Executive Committee are selected for 2011 and when team managers for all age groups are decided. So if you have any interest or proposals as to who should be managing our teams please let me know preferably in writing but definitely turn up at the meeting and have your say and vote.
