To Onlooker and Lancs official.
No one wants to remove jokes - poems - fun comments or critisim of the county (see my earlier comments on this) The sort of comment refered to by Lancs official and personal attacks (non - humerous and on people who are not obviously in a position to respond) are not reasonable behaviour in anyones book, and as JUNIORS and many people from ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD can read this we do not want them to have to read that sort of stupidity. This was heavily discussed at the last county meeting and we are attempting to move to a forum where offensive remarks can be edited out. Critisim of the county or its officials will not be edited out unless strictly personal as this would defeat the whole idea of the forum. We NEED people to say what they think is wrong, so that it can be discussed or corrected. That is what the forum is about - and to have a friendly laugh - not to make the sort of stupid comment highlighted by Lancs Official. Censorship should be done by those writing on here before they write it - in consultation with their own good sense and conscience - then no editing will be needed.

 Get Cancer and die

Where were all the bowlers comments for deleting messages then? Or are the ones wanting censorship now...the ones who wrote that then?

It seems strange that peeps have come on this forum and slagged off lancashire to their hearts content, sometimes being totatly rude to the lancashire officials. Yet we now see because of a few funny poems, peeps want messages deleted left riht and center.

If you dont like them, dont come on the site. Its not like its porno. If it is Brian who created the site, and he starts deleting messages then it becomes a sensored forum and he might start deleting any awkward questions put to lancashire, so lancashire may as well delete the entire forum now.

How's this for setting an example of what Lanc's bowlers are doing,as well as writing Valentine poems!
A whole gang of juniors went packing supermarket bags at Asda,Blackpool last weekend and raised a huge amount of money for the junior squads.I am told it was extremely hard work and they were a credit to the Lancashire shirts that they were wearing.
WELL DONE AND A BIG THANKYOU TO:-
Charlotte Rathbone,Rebecca Wilson,Jenny Bold,Alistair Batty,Laura Taylor,William Nice,Samantha & Philip Dennison,Natalie Crook,Simon Entwistle,Greg Marcus,Ben Webb,Ross Gowrie,Chris Gowrie,Ben Robinson,Adam Jareh,Paul Smith and Helen Morwood.A special mention for Andrew Wilson who worked hard even though he did'nt make the squad this year, also Toby Webb who is a YAC.
Thanks also to Pete and the parents who helped.

It is possible to delete messages on QuickTopic. If the person who originally created the Topic, who I believe is Bryan Wiggans, logs into QuickTopic there will be option on the top left of the screen to access an admin page where individual messages can be selected and then deleted.

A Badass bowler called Mark
Had a 'moonlight' bowl in the dark
He got a prod on the Bum...
Thought his Birthday had come...
As it happens most times in the Park

Browser,

If you think that is slagging off, you must have led a very sheltered life. If you care to stick around a bit longer I'll gladly give you a lesson on the subject (free of charge)if you want one.

Mentioning a name in a couple of poems wouldnt consitute a slagging off, here in Manachester and I have read all the poems. You probably would know humour if it bit you on the assssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!

Browser,
Unfortunately it is impossible to regulate this particular forum or edit anything put on by others. We are moving, hopefully in the near future, to a MSN style forum where that will be possible. In the mean time we have to rely on the good sense and good manners of those who write in here. This does not always work but we feel that a forum like this is still better than no forum at all. At least people can air their views and see how others feel. I, and most others, do agree totally with your revulsion at seeing personal attacks and these will, once we have the ability, be edited out. Complaints and critisism about the way things are done by the county are fine, we won't get it right if we do not know we are doing it wrong, but against an idividual - no, that should be done in private and face to face.
