Whilst out in Malasia at the World Championships I was informed of the following event being held in this part of the country :-
 The Megabowl Weber Cup will take place at the Altrincham Leisure Centre,Oakfield Road, Altrincham, Greater Manchester from November 7 – 9, 2003.

              Confirmation of the actual times will be posted when I have them but there are five sessions,
      Friday Evening about 7pm and Saturday and Sunday about 2pm and 7pm.
 The European Team will probably be Tomas Leanderson, Tore Torgerson,Gery Vebruggon, Lasse Lintilla and Phil Scammell. The USA Team will possibly be Tim Mack, Bill Hoffman, Dino Castillio, Tony Manners plus one other maybe Mike Mullins?.
     Those of you who know your bowlers will be aware that these are some of the best bowlers in the amateur world.
