Just to let you all know that the Lancashire County Trials will be held at Burnley on Sundays November 8th, 15th and 22nd. 8th and 22nd are Adults Preferred and the 15th is Juniors Preferred. Good Luck to you all!!

Can I suggest that the YAC team have some sort of get-together. I'm not just talking about a practice, which I think will be needed as well. I'm thinking whether the team meets up for a drink before the qualifiers to build the team spirit etc.

The U14s County Championships for 2009 will be held on Sunday 11th October at Lakeside Bowl, Nuneaton. The following teams have been chosen to represent Lancashire.

GIRLS ..... Alice Pell, Amy Staniford, Becky Daly, Megan Johnson and Chloe Apps.

BOYS.......Ryan Turner, Callum Adams, Kyle Scarr, Curtis Proctor and Shaun Eccleston.

Unfortunately i won't be there to watch as i will be playing at the senior intercounties at Peterborough.

Congratulations to both the Lancashire Ladies and Harriet Harmon for the very succesful weekends bowling they had. Bronze for the ladies and Gold for Harriet. For me personally it was great to see Kat and Rebecca bowl so well as i have known them both as juniors. Also great to see Harriet do so well as she is still a Lancashire junior!!.....and from my own club too!! Well done Harriet!!

Just a reminder that the 3rd and last Lancs trial date is next Sunday 22nd at Burnley. The adults are not very forthcoming with their entries. If you are interested please contact Chris Aldersley asap. Tele no is on the entry form which is available on line.

I thought there was an overflow on the 29th.

You are right Mo but the overflow is what it says. It is there for those who cannot make it on the 3 weekends already stated either due to sickness/injury or taking part in recognised bowling tournaments. It does not stop you contacting Chris and completing a form so that we know what is going on and can plan accordingly. We dont want to be at Burnley every Sunday we do have other things to do.
