I just don't get it... I had dog when I was in northeast China (lots of ethnically-Korean Chinese folks up there) and, well, it wasn't half bad. I don't really see how people can eat one animal happily and then condemn an entire culture for eating another. But that's humans for you.

On 12/28, you wrote "The Dog Thing will probably hit mainstream North American media in about 4 months...." On 1/28, in my small town paper in TN, USA ran a little caption with a picture on the said topic. The picture was of a dog in a cage with a sign that read in Korean and English, "Help Me!"

Stavros, there ain't a one of Man's Best Friends walks past me these days without I wonder "what would you taste like, fried with a little garlic?".

See what you've done? :-)

Also, don't Chinese folks from all over (ethnically Korean or not) eat dogs? And ethnically Chinese folks in the Philippines? If so, I wonder why these dognivores are not getting any flak together with the Koreans.
