Good topic. I love the people who listen to Art Bell and call him. The other night, a guy suggested that instead of euthanizing stray dogs and cats, we ought to tie high explosives on their backs and parachute them into Afghanistan this winter. The animals, cold, will seek out warm Taliban caves and - he was fuzzy about this - detonate themselves once inside. Our own little terrorist martyrs.

Eouw, gross, but he's perfectly right--it would work. You'd just have to put a two step timer on the bomb--the first begins to tick when the dog hits the ground, the second, detonating trigger, could go off above a certain temp.
Outside the box thinking. Send it to the Pentagon!
