Acoustic Kitty isn't new -- it was covered (sic) by John Ranelagh in his "The Agency: The Rise and Decline of the CIA" (pub. Sceptre Books, 1987, ISBN 0-340-41230-5).
I can't recommend this book highly enough; it contains many bizarre (if not downright insane) plots, and is nearly as much fun to read as "Secret Societies and Subversive Movements" by Nesta H. Webster (pub. 1924 and extensively reprinted by the Christian Book Club), the original anti-semitic conspiracy tract that popularised Adam Weishaupt and the Bavarian Illuminati.
