A proper Steve response:

"Pictures? Sorry, you're not cleared for that."

'Cause I know Richard Kerr's work and it's usually awesome.

I don't see any photos of the miniatures. How do you know you want them if you can't see them?

Steve's a mench as well as a good impresario and designer. If he weren't around, I don't know if I'd have ANYTHING to do with gaming.

Weird obscure game: Steve's collaboration with David Brin, "Tribes." It's social caveman role-playing, where the object is to have the most surviving offspring. The tribe bickers over who sleeps with who, who owes who how much food, and the area where the tribe will hunt/forage.

And coming next year: My rewrite of GURPS Uplift! Roleplay a genetically engineered chimp!

I love these guys and their rather twisted, sometimes even subversive, approach to gaming. I just wish I actually had time to play all the games of theirs that I collect.
