Thin verging on pitiful attendance at nets today with several players ill. The captain made the effort, so did Greg, his pal and potential recruit Michael, Sachin and stalwart pal Tristan from St. Anne's. A top workout for those boys but we could have done with a few more. | | |

From here on, helmets should be worn by batsmen at nets. The surface at Teddington SC though true is hard and bouncy and batsmen and bowlers have mostly played little cricket since last season. The lift from even medium-pace bowlers is great and we do not want to have a serious injury.

Great turn out for nets today. Dont remember having 12 there on the first session before - Probably cos i havent been there myself. Good to see people on form and looking forward to the season. Andy and Hemin wore a couple which was unfortunate for Andy as he was just spectating!! The new shirts look really good so thanks to Naveed for sorting that.
