Does the cancellation mean victory by default?

Naveed - still working on the tour (Saturday game at least). Sadly it's not dependent on the effort Andy and I have put in. However everything is in hand, we'll start sorting accomodation and transport as soon as we confirm the oppo and ground. Cheers.

Naveed - West One were yet again a very tough and spirited team who play the game hard on the pitch but are always fair. Both teams can be congratulated for the manner the game was played in and the sportmanship between the teams was magnificent. The ground was one of the best i have played on( had played footy there loads of times years ago). Loved fielding on a pitch where you didnt have to worry about the ball jumping up and smacking you on the mush. Didnt love my first ever golden duck so much-(.
Also, If i get randy then i dont take long-).

Congratulations on the win to everyone involved. Memories from last years game were that this oppo were very competitive and very talented.
On a seperate issue I just wanted to check on the logistics for the Tour next month: 1. Travel arrangements? Are we hiring some kind of minibus and driving down together or making our own way there? 2. Accommodation? Is it all booked? Are we sharing? Do i need to bring my shotgun in case Richie gets randy at night?

Another fantastic win Gents. At 6-3 i was bricking it but an excellent innings from Suman and Ahsan gave us a decent score. Great batting towards the end from Ken and Himanshu (effectively won us the game).
Bowling and fielding were superb, well done Ahsan for your 4 wickets.

Hemin, HP's two wickets came against Sunderland SC in 2005. I was one of three Gent loan players and a bowled HP victim. Buck, who top scored with 28 and Dhruv, who took 4-57, also played for the Mackems that day. Glad you all like the stats.

Getting just over a thousand runs in 14 seasons is not exactly Kevin Pietersen territory! Do the maths H-Bomb.....
I'm very happy to be official number 11 now.

Some fantastic stats there,my personal favourite being Max Minhas averaging above Sanjay and Jimmy. He certainly got full value for that trundle down to third man.

2 things about the Stats:
1) When the hell did HP take 2 wickets???
2) How the hell did Snarler get into the top 10 for batting??? Christ we need to get some batsmen in!!!

I've updated the stats page and the all time stats are correct to the end of last season. There are some new and interesting names in the top 10 figures, but particlar congratulations to Sanjay as he is now the all time top run scorer with 4000+ runs. Druv and Jim have broken the 3000 mark and Stuart 1000. Tony has 100+ wickets and must be nearing his 200th game? Well done all.
