yes, they do have the archives, but there are well over 14 million people in the NYC,NJ and NYstate area who can listen to WFMU from a traditional radio and in the car.

i guess my message was for them

Well, that's why they have the archives.

"WFMU is my favorite radio station, available as a stream on iTunes."

Hell yeah!
Thats because WFMU is the best radio station there is. i was lucky enough to grow up on its brilliance.

for those who are unfamiliar with the station- it is completely free form.
That measn that sometimes you will tune it in and you cannot STAND what they are playing- it makes you run to turn it off!
But other times, you will be overwhelmed at how great the DJ is.

just a little caveat to those who will tune in now to check it out. don't be scared off if you don't care for the DJ you tune into. There are a wide array of different programs on and its ALL commercial free.

listener supported freeform radio the way it is meant to be.

-they also play Joe Frank on Thursdays.
